  1. To celebrate her 1st birthday, I cleaned her up and fitted a new fork, so thought I'd spam my favourite thread. She cleans up nice, but this is a well used, well traveled and hard working bike Weight weenies and handguard haters look away now. 2019 Geometron G16 Size Long in 29/27.5 mode ~ HTA 63deg with this setup. FOX 38 Grip 2 170mm x 44mm offset // Ext Storia LOK shock // SRAM XO1 AXS // Code R brakes 220mm F & 203mm R // Saint 165mm crankset with Saint oldschool bashring and Wolftooth chainring// Intend Stiffmaster headset // No carbon.
  2. Business trip in Taiwan, took my Taokas Lycaon
  3. Just got it mounted last night: Spank Oozy Trail 345, 23psi Rim inside width Carcass width Extreme width, knobs edge to edge
  4. because Greg said so
  5. Got this little guy to go with my new 36. Comes with a climb switch.
  6. I'm giving these a try. The combination of my fat ass, rock gardens and a plow-through-everything riding style is a sure recipe for a broken rear wheel. https://www.bikesuspension.com/tyres/ptn-pepi-tire-noodle.html Stuffing it into a 2.4 Minion DHR wasn't fun. I ran it at 26PSI on the rear through the rock gardens on Saturday and so far so good. I weigh 87 kg on a good day. It might be my imagination but the bike felt a bit sluggish accelerating out of the switchbacks, possible that the curry I had the night before had something to do with it. Will feed back here if I break something. Cheers!
  7. Oh yeah, come to Papa! Now I just have to cook up a cunning plan to get this bad boy on the bike without the little lady catching on. Going on my Reign Adv 0
  8. Finally updated my old Reverb remote, feels nice (should be considering the price). I can't wait to try it out on Saturday. Installation was ok, I just followed the instruction from SRAM on YT.

  10. Wow, that Trek is badass! Bought a Birzman Pump-Up 1.2L air canister to help me win the tubeless tire fight. Rated at 220psi or 15 Bar. I can only pressurize it up halfway with the floor pump, before having to change to a shock pump to bring the pressure all the way up. Not easy. Haven't tried it yet.
  11. My Giant Reign Adv 0
  12. New Mudhugger Front Race Guard. Not too sure about the looks, this is a love it or hate it thing. I haven't had to deal with serious mud so far, let's see. Only issue I find is that due to the low profile, now and then a leaf or twig will jam in between the tire and the guard, making annoying engine sounds.
  13. Dragon's Back, Hong Kong on my Giant Reign Adv 0. Early morning ride, was hoping to catch the sunrise, but I was too slow.
  14. Ordered off e-bay. Tried it out when I got home from work, worked a treat on a KMC11XL as well as a 9 speed KMC chain. The claws fit easily into the 11 speed link with clearance to spare, so could possibly fit on a 12 speed as well.
  15. KMC missing link tool / tyre levers
  16. Just arrived
  17. Because Sam Hill Lever upgrade
  18. Just recently built up this bike: 2016 Taokas Lycaon. Di2 M8050 // 170mm RS Lyric // Ibis 742 carbon rims 35mm internal width // Magura Trail Carbon brakes // Renthal Fatbar Carbon and Renthal stem // 30t Fifty-Fifty NW chainring // 11~46 Sunrace cassete // Fox Transfer Still need to fit the chain guide. The Fox Transfer is too long for this bike, the slight kink in the seat tube stops the post from going deep enough, sigh. Typical example of what happens when you back-pedal a 1x11 with a 46t
  19. @dewaldsss - love the bike, I have that same cassette on 2 of my bikes. Got these on a business trip to Taiwan recently, nothing exciting. Just a spare D-link, Rockers, bearing and bolt kits, and hangers for my 2016 Reign Advanced 0.
  20. Thanks Boet! It's 11 speed, matched to M8000 XT lever and cranks. I've got that same Sunrace cassette on 2 of my bikes. No complaints.
  21. Not exactly worthy of the title, but here's a Legend MKII that I had as a DH rental from X-Biking Chiangmai on a recent holiday. Bike looked a bit scruffy, but it was bombproof. Fuzzy pic chunky
  22. Wow, that Reacto is a beaut! Here's my 120; XTR M9020 brakes, 1x conversion with 34T Eliptical chain ring and Sunrace 11~46 cassette, Renthal bar and stem, KS Lev 150mm. This little bike rips! Didn't have a choice on the colour... Fresh from the bikeshop A couple of months later, non-drive side, sorry.
  23. Sadly that didn't help, on my ride today the power signal from my Kickr dropped out for about a second or so. Looks like it's time for a new Ant stick. It was worth a try though!
  24. Haha, yep with the bike across my shoulders. Some of the hiking sections are brutal. Also pre-walked many of the technical sections. Beautiful Trance @Mambat!
