Interesting. Where abouts do you do it?
  4. The thing that bugs me is what they do to the cats after they removed there eyes to put on the roads. Think I need to report this to the SPCA.
  5. You are a brave person Dick.
  6. Nice one. I love the older bikes. I will take a photo of my steel frame Colnago tonight and post it tomorrow.

I did not even know there was a pre-ride. Unfortunatly my riding buddy is getting a baby in November, so I will not be at the Sabie this year.

  14. Jipee, getting my new baby Stumpy tomorrow. Will post some pics when I have her.
  15. Well, I can only talk about my experience. I have the same MTB since 1999/2000 and the chain has given no problem. I assume that the chain is pretty much indestructible.
  16. There will be more to this story, just wait.
  17. They are talking about you Colonel....
  18. Friday afternoon, Hutton gate, 16:00?
  19. Decided: Stumpjumper, probably without the "brain" technology. Will take them for a ride. Problem: It seems that there is very few of them in the shops. Fritz Pienaar Cycles in Centurion said they agenst does not have one, I need to wait.
  20. This is so sad. Every year we hope something good will come of these issues, but it seems that we live in hope. We do not even know who last years winner of the tour is.
  21. I have made up my mind to get one of these Specialized bikes, so do not warry BigBen.
  22. I read a lot on the suspension of the MTB's (because my current bike does not have a back shock (or for that matter a front shock - can only press it in 2 cm on the RST). Does the "brain" technology on the Specialized be felt or is that more a "gimmick"?
