Nice upgrades, love the colour scheme. Just a question: Your seat height seems so much higher than the handlebars, look very "racy". Is it comfy? PS: better upgrade your couch also.

I have replaced my old Spez Resolution 2.1 wirh Monorail 2.1 at the back. To be honnest, they look cool, but have not felt any difference yeat. The only thing that appealed to me is the fact they they have stronger sidewalls to most other tyres.

I have not ridden any of those 2 bikes, but you cannot go wrong with either of them. Based on reviews in "What MTB", both is worthy of your couch.

Well, normally a hot bike would be red (flames)....

Nancy Drew, that is organising a ride on Breedts Nek, made me think (I know it is dangerous to think). I look forward to ride with the group. I live close to the mountains, so to take my MTB out on weekends is a real pleasure, do not have to ride to get to the starting point and no riding on tar to get where the dirt roads start. It is so uncomplicated, ride anytime of the day. I do this always solo. What I need from time to time is to interact a bit more on the social side of cycling, like group rides. I ride a couple of races a year with my brother, but it would be nice to join a group ad-hoc. Any surgestions? I looked at the different MTB clubs, but there is not a lot of info on there web sites.

Mostly singletrack in the Magalies mountains. The Magalies mountains rocks are not smooth, so I think that is where the cuts had came from.

After destroying my second back tyre (Spez Resolution), i need some info / help. The issue with the back tyre is that I ride a lot in rocky terrain, and eventually, I get a tear in the sidewall. The Spez tyres has very thin side walls. An option I am thinking about is to get someting like a UST. Normally, the tyre wall is much stronger.
