  1. My experience with them: https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/179736-cannondale-warranty-issue-i-need-advice/page-1 Haha, feels like ages and four bikes(bought at other store obviously) ago!
  2. This view kinda justifies the R2500 levies
  3. The Samsung S Health app works simple and good enough for me to track calories. I think on intervals.icu you can plan your future workouts and estimate the training load to see the future effect on your fitness if you keep to your training plans? Come in David Tinker?!
  4. On your left is Piet Rooi se Berg if I'm not mistaken. You'll start seeing the 205m high Khi Solar 1 tower in the distance soon just after that..
  5. MTB spin with the roadies.. Wellington -> Paarl -> Hermon and back
  6. I obviously had a good ride this morning if I butt dialed the hub during it haha[emoji2357]. No pics, but was a rainy 110km Boland base loop over Helshoogte..
  7. Haha nice.. my grandpa was a teacher in Van Wyksvlei in the 1930/40s. I drove through there two years ago, that place looks like it stands still in time
  8. Nice fix.. but I agree with DR. I've only had excellent aftersales service from Wahoo/Ikhambi. Sucks that your ticket slipped through a crack, but that is definitely a 1 in 10 000 case of that happening at Wahoo/Ikhambi. They genuinely have the best aftersales service I've ever experienced. I've had two Kickr 4's and three Tickr HR monitors replaced. The last HR monitor they even replaced well out of the warranty period. Every time within two days from reporting I had my new Kickr or Tickr delivered to my door.
  9. Yep, I did this loop on the MTB. I love those roads!
  10. Haha yes! Thought the same thing this morning while rolling the rock out of the road!
  11. Exactly, "Not all those that wander are lost" - J.R.R. Tolkien
  12. Bainskoof closed for traffic, open for cyclists = HEAVEN!!
  13. That pinotage ain't half bad! It's actually one of my favourite wines at the moment. The 15% Home Owners discount on the wines also don't hurt hehe..the more you drink, the more you save!

  15. Haha yeah I do! I just want to put it on paper so she could follow that recipe. Easier for her to stick to it if she has a plan in front of her instead of thinking there's still enough time, or we'll start next week, or maybe choose to do another Koei-se-Pad instead of sementbult. I see I'm going to end up creating a plan on an excel calendar sheet and claim it didn't come from me.
  16. Where did you get that info?? I haven't received an email yet. Checked my spam as well. They shouldn't have called it an entry transfer then.. It's more like, "We are cancelling the event and you don't get any refund, but here is an opportunity for you to buy an entry for a next race at 50% discount".
  17. Just spent our first night in our new home on Diemersfontein. Did a very quick spin around the house after work to see where it's possible to ride on the farm/estate... 14km with 350m elevation gain. Think I might actually be in with a shot of hitting my 130 000m elevation target this year!
  18. I also have my doubts, but I'm not telling her.. I want to see her back on the bike training. Sunday coffee rides with my wife I enjoyed more than with my mates
  19. The manual points is a liiiitle bit better now in my area.. or at least, more single track are now able to track automatically instead of manually.. still far from perfect though.
  20. REVIVE! So my wife has made it her new years resolution to do her first Karoo 2 Coast in September, aiming for sub 7 hrs. The last time she was on her bike was with the 2019 Around the Pot 100km race. I remember a few years ago seeing a website with a K2C training program you could follow. The website kinda looks like a calendar if I remember correctly.. But for the life of me, I can't find it again!! Anybody maybe have a link to it? Off course I can give her tips or create a training program for her, but anything that comes out of my mouth cycling related is met with resistance 95% of the time. Just the mere fact that she decided to do something cycling related again has me astound..I don't want to push her too hard in any direction, otherwise she'll just drop the whole idea again..so, the training tips/program can't come from me haha. Edit: I think it was www.fittrack.co.za , but doesn't seem to exist anymore. Anywhere else I can find a similar training program for K2C?
  21. Ja okay, let's do this again! Just got back from 6 weeks holiday, up 7kg!! I'm pretty sure at least 3kg of that is just a food baby, but my work pants are feeling a bit tight this morning! After DC in November I was on 82,8kg. Now I'm on 90kg. Goal for the year is 75,1kg. If I hit that, I'll be 50kg down from the 125,1kg I started on in 2017.
  22. Last few days of Vleesbaai holiday spinning..
  23. Yes, me too! That's why I set myself a goal of more elevation this year at 130 000m, and just 8000km distance goal.
  24. Where are you guys staying? I'm thinking of doing a +-110km gravel loop from Vleesbaai to Herbertsdale and back later this week.
