  2. It's VERY fast........ on the flats, working on dem hills!!! The frog stickers came with a SRAM sticker set I acquired about 8 months ago, looking for more ways to make it heavier. I can almost touch my head and toes if I stretch out on the couch. Sunday is calling but we'll have to see if I can get a coupon to ride, otherwise it's Cobra calling
  3. Review of frame and bits coming soon along with the weight weenie stuff WH.

  5. Name and shame 40Someting. Bikes and kit are usually enough to identify most even when not in club kit.
  6. Hey Ronelle, So where's the rest of the photos? Can't find an album on flickr either
  7. ASTANA, before you decide be sure to try on a pair of Specialized's. I too have ridden Shimano and Sidi's but the Specialized are head an shoulder above the others. Contact Gary/Michael at CYCLESdirect on 021 5542128, they have loads of stock and the Specialized rep is in there almost daily. http://www.specialized.com/media/equip/6108-01_d.jpg
  8. Any truth in the rumour that another photo exists of you in said attire while warming up/down at said event??
  9. Sweet bike, hopefully you'll use it more than Bogart....
  10. The mean guy is Garth, but his bark is way scarier than his bite cause he has no teeth...... (old git) We're there every weekend from 6 and there's usually some MTB riders and a slower group. The more serious group went up Kloof, Glen and lower Kloof this saturday. Call the shop on 021 5542128 and they'll tell you what the plan is, I'm sure with almost everyone on holiday they'll be organising morning groups during the week aswell.
  11. RL, if my feet were about double their size I'd be able to fit into OT's shoes. My point is the bike shop and manufacturer were publicly flamed, both of which are blatantly obvious because of this topic. OT's original posts were removed and hence a single sided story for all to see not just me. OT is happy now but here's some advice at no extra charge; If you're wrong, say you're wrong. If you're man enough to blurt publicly, be man enough to take it back. My 2c
  12. A thank you is all very well and good, but I still don't see any remorse or any form of apology to the LBS or the Manufacturer. Damage has been done I'm with cyco on this, and not that that it counts for much but my previous lofty opinion of OT has gone completely. Nice one
  13. I take that back.....
  14. Still no thank you's
  15. Dude, this is a public forum so be so kind as the tell the rest of us where exactly our noses do and don't belong....
  16. Removing ALL post looks bad regardless. If someone is willing to come onto a public website and say something, you either defend what you said or apologise and take it off.
  17. Playing catchup here but since all of OT's posts have been removed, I'd be interested to see what the outcome is......
  18. Lets see how he handles thin slick tyres, no disk brakes, fixed single gear and clipless pedals.
  19. Still looking for a Madison partner, what are my chances?
  20. Glad to hear you escaped unharmed. Spiders can be feaky snuckers, I've found them trying to get at my GU once or twice before..... Spread the word, everyone should be warned!!!
  21. R27 is a proper road, none of this newly tarred mirror glass smooth rubbish. You ride to Darling and back via the R27 and you know you've been on a real training ride
  22. Could have been a NW, no mountain to get a valid bearing dude!!!
