If you start to take part in other diciplines like track and Mtb you will be required to take out licences for those diciplines, which costs about R20.00 per dicipline, I think

CAADman, I take it that you took out the licence for road? This licence will enable you to enter road races and be seeded for them. If you, however like to also do a bit of offroading, like me, you will be required to take out a licence for Mtb asswell. Otherwise you will have to take out a day licence when entering an Mtb race

I don't have any of the mentioned problems with my club. Our secretary handles all licence aplications (cyclo and full). It then gets posted to the aplicants within 4 to 6 weeks. These things should be done for you by your club management, that is why they are there
