Jees like, sounds heavy nice, but also scaring me big time!!!! My first TB and first race/adventure with the distance!!! Will i ever know if im ready, fit enough.... Dont train 230km!?!?!?!?!?

Gonna be there!!! If all goes well. Doing all 5 again this year. Pity race packs a bit small, when we did get?!?!?!

Im also going for the 27.5 wheels. Set of wheels make a big difference, get a other set, the dt Swiss is good reliable wheels as i also have with my Scott, but since getting STANS its like so much easier etc. Brakes need to be 100%. Juicy is what i found to work the best for us.

Nice race, try to do complete series, did 40km last year, going for 70km this year.

Always a quarel about wheel size. Jip, it will fit Scott Spark back stay, but maybe not the front fork. I also have the Scott Spark Carbon, and is a great bike, and im also going to fit 650b wheels. Need to change shock, but its still cheaper to do as get a new bike either 650b bike and 29er. 650b according to me is best of both worlds and no disadvantages. Im in no hurry to get it, but ill get it!!

Always just had bad service, we don't eat there anymore and only ride!!!

i was thinking of tuesdays and thursdays. We doing road. How fit u guys.

If anyone is keen on joining me during the week. Planning on riding from 8:00 to 10:00 starting for 2 times per week. Wanna do more but wanna start like this and c what the response is. Staying in Witpoortjie.

Sjoe but 4:15 is early. Im staying in witporrtjie. What times can u guys ride. Im riding from 8:00-8:30 to 10:00-10:30.

Hi Hubbers, Got a large Scott Spark 30 Carbon of course. Standard when i bought it 11.3kg. Did a tube less conversion with Maxxis ust on and weighs in @ 11.6kg. With a few mods u can go weigh under 11kg. Got SLX crank and shifters. Can go lighter if u change the following : Wheels, Fork, Seat+post, Handlebars+stem, Crank and shifters. Was in your price range.

I know the feeling. Sometimes the boards get stolen or fall off or is just transparent. But could cause a hell of a prang which could not be lekker!!

Aiming for a 2:30 this year. As long as there is no suprises on route.

I agree, its all about ur Goals u set for yourself. I like the shorter races, its fast and no time for resting, so i think its cool u burning all the way. On long races u have to save energy, eat correctly, etc etc. I have done my first 3 day stage race(Cradle Quest) and i was worried if i would finish as i always do the short races and i never trained more than i rode. And i must say it went great, made sure to eat drink @ right times, but also had a great partner which were helping me through.

Yeah its scary if u compare the prices. If u c a vrot car with a high end bike @ the back, u know then the guy/woman priorities is on the right track.

I feel he must not get in again. He must quit now. Hope he not going to get special treatment. Poor Riis, he build a team around Alberto and now it could back fire,and have no good riders as most is joining the Schleck brothers team.

Cool to know. We always looking for a shop that delivers as promised, and then their prices are great aswell. Will def use them next time.
