  1. You can buy a complete dual suspension for less than the groupset and fork bought seperately.
  2. swim x 2 per week bike x 2 per week and run x 2 per week. Use weekends for distance and schooldays for tempo. Very few people has got the time or energy to do 9 sessions a week.
  3. I ride 11/23 but surely missed a 25 or even 27 during Saturdays 5150 at Bela bela
  4. Thanks for the input so far
  5. http://www.silverbacklab.com/2011/mercury_2.jpg What do you guys think about this bike? Saw it at a bikeshop for R12000! Any input appreciated.
  6. Yes it does work if you dont do csa licenced events as then you going to battle to get your seat back far enough. Just remember it is a huge schlepp changing between tt and drop bar setup's.
  7. Yes but how do I get my stuff from the Dark side of the moon?
  8. So wich is this particular race that you refer to? At this rate you gonna rock up at the start line and all the cx bikes in the country will be there!
  9. What is your point? If you dont have anything to add to the question posted then maybe rather dont say anything at all.
  10. I would still appreciate any input on the posted question as my 35mm tyres does fit my cyclocross. I did my first mtb race on my cx bike yesterday and would like to know when and where I can go again.
  11. The theory works for me as Ive got 2 girls and to sh@t scared to try for a boy
  12. In order to do the math correctly we need to know how long she carried as it looks as if this boy came out after 120weeks rather than the 38-40 norm!
  13. you wont go wrong with mavic ksyriums
  14. A TT bike has got a +-78degr seat tube than enable you to get your back horisontal without cramping you in. Thus is a tt bike as comfortable as a road bike but with a better aero position. However if you only going to have 1 bike with you mtb back ground I suggest buying a roadbike. The conversion to drop bars from a tt bike is expensive and very time consuming.(mind you a forward facing seatpost and tt bars are not cheap either) And you will find that now you own a road setup you want to do more road events. Also remember that the Energade series is draft legal and tt bars are not allowed. I think most people do their first Ironman event on a roadbike and then when you get hooked you can ad a tt bike to your collection.
