  1. Well done Fatty! But that pink shirt does not suit you
  2. Pimp my ride or what Willehond?
  3. Marvulli and Risi (World Madison Champs) did a 160km training ride the Friday morning of the Tri-Nations. Our riders not allowed on their bikes. So in short our track riders lose a whole week of hard riding cause they got to "rest" for the Tri-Nations. And then we want to send them to the World Track champs at end of March not properly prepared.. Someone needs to shake the box and think about reality.
  4. There service is very good. Import duties only on clothing and shoes. Otherwise it is just VAT. As a previous post said try TotalCycling and local you have to check Chris Willemse's website before you buy.
  5. Gerrit best of luck. Hope you recover soon and get back on a bike.

  7. UK registered, Italian Managed, SA sponsored. But for all of us a SA team!!!!!!
  8. Ok let's stop beating about the bush here. The thread was started by questioning the selection of Garth Thomas and Chris Willemse Jnr and what the selection criteria was. To be blunt there are not many other riders at this stage that can claim those spots. But let's look at their "connections": Garth Thomas. Comes from the Kulsen family of the Paarl that has produced generations of excellent track riders. Ricky Kulsen is a SA Track selector and Manager. As far as I know Ricky was awarded Springbok colors in the 80's. Chris Willemse Jnr. His father Chris Snr was a top road and track rider. Still the only person to win SA Road titles as Schoolboy, Junior and Elite. Ex Vice-Chairman of old Cycling Federation. At his moment he is only involved with his club, Tygerberg and the CSC/Marcello Team. Unlike many other sports, Cycling has a long history of cyclists that comes from cycling families. One generation passes the talent and skill AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE LOVE OF THE SPORT on to the next generation. It is also very common that ex-cyclists get involved with the admin/coaching/officials/managers side of the sport when they retire from racing. It is inevetable that you will always have cyclists that will have connections with the admin/coaching/officials/managers side of the sport. Deal with it and move on.
  9. Francois du Toit is the SA agent for Pinarello. Still builds frames on order. Duncan Mcntyre also used to built some good frames - he now helps Francois on a part time basis.
  10. Ok I voted twice cause we got to Pinarello's in the household
  11. Reniell Mathyssen hanged up his wheels a week ago. Hein Kroff is the National Track commisionner. He runs a cycle shop in Paarl. Look up the number and give him a call and ask him all the questions instead of wasting your time speculating on the Hub.
  12. He is training flat-out in his hometown PE. He came to check the track racing out on Saturday on his bike.
  13. And the winner is??????????????????? Chris Snr and Jnr I hope to support you for many years to come. Keep it up!
  14. My 2 cents worth: Mr Els as a MD of a company one would expect that you get your facts correct when responding. 1. The post was done by Chris Willemse Snr as can be seen when you check the person's profile. You keep on attacking Chris Willemse Jnr. 2. Your financial dept gives the thumbs up on the debtor's days outstanding for CWC. Yet you argue the point and want to disclose the past 5 years debtors book. On a positive note: CWC and CWC Online keep on giving the excellent service you guys are giving to the cyclist out there!!!!! Who needs enemies when you have friends like Pro-bike
  15. Thule strap on . R1000 at Sportsman Warehouse. Brilliant
  16. Francois?? Looks more like Hendrik Lemmer (Groot Lem)
  17. Reg Lizard got me all the details
  18. CY I am busy tracing the guy now. A rep for Total. Could not give me contact details but he had a Total badge with his name on. A$$hole. And I got his reg number.
  19. On the bridge crossing the N1 from Brackenfell to Stellenberg. Old Oak Road.
  20. So inspired by yesterday's Boxing Day racing I take to the bike again for the first time in a month and I get hit by car. I was in the verge of the road on the idiot hits me with the mirror. Lucky no damage to the bike but my leg hurts! Damn idiot. At least he stopped and apologized. Got his reg number so will hunt him down for a new saddle and handlebar tape.
  21. Dean Edwards - ace track rider
