hey hubbers....I always see the hills around the KLOOF hospital neat Rigel avenue in PTA EAST. Does anyone know if you can ride those hills etc or if anyone does ride there? They look like fun

All round, considering that you also want your GPS for other uses, I beleive that my Garmin 60CsX is the most practical for my uses. Bike mount and car mount and waterproof and enhanced receiver for forest and canyon use....it is the bomb

You can take an energy bar...and something you can do prior to the race is hydrate effectively a few days before ...drinks lottsa water...it helps, incase you are a 40km cramper....don't go mad from the start and remember it is a lap race...so no secrets in the last 20km or so can push it a little more... helmet of course decent hydration for the race and if you got a hot sister, bring her with too, thats very very important

All of you must do extra kilomters for me so that I don't fall behind in my training.... doctor just informed me that I have pumpkins...I told her i don't, we argued for a little while, then I realized that she meant MUMPS Grrrrrrrrrrr there goes my damn weekend and next week. She recommends sponge baths, on the hour by beautiful blonde ladies taking care of my every need. Yesterday a riding mate and myself went for a nice easy ride just out near the Boschkop area and were heading towards the N4 on a through road, a dirt road, made for some nice riding, I want to warn everyone about a Blue Double Cab Hilux 4x4, the box one, think pre 2000. This fat drunk looking chap with his South African Rugby jersey on, with on all his vermin freinds decided that it would be fun to firstly swerve violently towards us as they were oncoming....then as they swerved the fat pig lent out the window and spat on me.... We were just riding along in a totally different direction, totally different side of the road...in single file...not bothering anyone....so people please be careful if you ride out that way there are some sickies out there... Nevertheless I was very very angry.....because i don't bother other people so I don't expect to be bothered by them :( We didn't retaliate that much in case they were looking for trouble and then tired to drive us over....but nevertheless I haven't forgotten his fat little face and his pretty little 4x4....just couldn't get the reg because of the dust

A little, in fact a big birdie, has told me to keep your eyes open for those bikes!! Canada Canada Canada, what can I say.....the boys designing bikes there have the know!!

To answer the first question.....i don't think it is going to make a huge difference!? I don't know the weight differences, but honestly think it won't be a difference that you going to feel.... What else have you changed on the bike to reduce the weight thus far? Any idea on how much it has cost you? Is there a noticeable difference in the performance after the changes?
