  1. Another option is to take the finishing time back to 11h and the qualifying time a sub 4h marathon.
  2. I’m sitting in exactly the same boat.No running at all. I was in Moma Mozambique this week for work , I packed my running gear and promised myself to get back into it. But no just turned my alarm off and went back to sleep every morning

  9. Its was a nice run this morning. 4 runners started at 4:25 and some even in shorts. Its confirmed runners are not sane.
  10. I agree , a bit skinny but overall not bad.
  11. Nothing worse than when you have a great run up to Comrades and then you somehow manage to blow on the day. I really feel for this poor lady.
  12. One would think that the reporter that made a story out of Reegans' non story would take something like this with real cheating involved and run with it.
  13. Is anyone planning on participating in these events : https://www.discovery.co.za/vitality/runseries Is it worth while ?
  14. Yip . I agree. She did the right thing to come clean. The other girl with excuses and Photoshop claims is just making a story out this. She should have just told the truth as well.
  15. On seeding times - it took me 7min to cross the start line. Next year I will start in C
  16. Reegan Alward. She is on the hub strava group. I ran with her for a while on Sunday. What a nice girl. She has given her side of the story on Facebook. I had almost the exact same thing happen to me. I gave away my wally Hayward marathon entry for free to someone that I have never met before in my life. He didnt complete the subtition process as I was getting race results and notifications from Jetline action photos. He almost ran a better seeding time than I had in which case I would have informed the comrades association. Luckily I'm just a nobody unlike Reegan who is hard to miss
  17. Excatley the amount focus to overcome the pain after Fields and then to up the pace for the final stretch when you have almost nothing left in the tank. The burn must be something else
  18. I ran with Reegan Alward for a while. It was close to the finish so neither of us had much to say :-) she was running with an injury and a cold and she still manages to finish minutes behind me. Well done Reegan.
  19. I made it. [emoji3] We got stuck on the highway I had to run 2km to the start and started right at the back. Knew my target time of sub 10 was out the window but still managed to get 10:36 We left Durban at 230. Can't believe the organisers took the highway down to one lane. But I still had a great time and enjoyed the day.
  20. Small you say :-) My wife did not even allow me to wear mine in public
  21. I run with a guy that ran Comrades in slops a few years ago
  22. Edgar you'll be missing out on this amazing view at the start up in A
  23. Haha I see I can't even spell properly. The word Hard missing completely and from became form
