  1. I'll invite myself to that ride
  2. Nice project and well executed mate. You've done that bike proud.
  3. Steel road bike?... Don't get me wrong the Road Logic is beaut - just seems the common 'go to' steel road bike at the moment. Some that come to mind... Stinner Festka Cherubim Speedwagen Twin Six LeMond And I'll add Soma Fab cos I have one Check them out Ok back to Cotics. Hijack off.
  4. Erm... ... ...
  5. Surely we can be more creative...
  6. Must be a heap of fun BUT when you're using broom sticks for seat posts I think it's time to move from the little kids racing though...?
  7. Note, it's also mounted up front. Caused I bit of a stir this fork...
  8. I may have to post here...
  9. Amasendeinja - drop me a PM if you're interested in a quote for a build or some of the parts.
  10. You joke... but sans the fanny pack, that's what most self proclaimed #Enduro riders look like these days..isn't it?...
  11. Didn't mean that to come across as aggressive. I'm in the same boat as you. Shorter rides and racing I take a bottle. Trail rides a tend to lug stuff in a pack so choose to use that for water too. Was just offering a possible reason as to the lack of provision for a cage. Not justifying it or condemning it. #Chilled #ItsTheWeekend
  12. Let's see where the frame pricing comes in...
  13. Salsa, Arundel or King Cages for the win!
  14. Isn't that for when you don't have a bike and have to use your feet to get around?...
  15. Look, many riders prefer to use a bottle. Many of my mates run bottles on our trail rides, as many don't. The differentiating factor here for me is that On-One are punting the 27.5 Codeine as an Enduro weapon - 150mm rear travel, run with a 160mm fork. To get their suspension design to work the way they want it to - it doesn't involve a bottle cage. I suspect they don't anticipate too many Codeine buyers placing this as a make or break option and see it as a small compromise as many guys (and gals) will ride with packs.
  16. Yeah, sadly possibly a deal breaker for you but many Enduro, trail, AM riders ride with substantial packs carrying bladders. Personally I don't run a cage on my HT trail bike as I've always got my Camelbak with me on these rides. Yes, probably an area they could improve but it would no doubt impact on their chosen suspension design. Obviously not such a big issue for On-One.
  17. As Bibi mentioned, the On-One Codeine 27.5 has been launched. Local pricing on frame sets available shortly...
  18. Tight at the chainstays?
  19. The name actually comes from the pom nic for the corner shop, the Kaff. So, on this bike, you can ride to the Kaff 'n back...
  20. Ironically, you can pretty much ride this anytime, anywhere - no pass/ permit required... It's very post '94.
  21. She is from me 40s will be too big for this frame. We're establishing if the 33s will fit. I'll have some feedback for Rock this weekend and then, if he takes some, can provide some of his own feedback. That said - where's your feedback on the 33s?
  22. Very nice Rock. That must be one of (if not the) first Kaffenback(s) in SA. Congrats on a great build.
  23. None of On-One's prices are bad compared to other bikes
  24. I'll let you know which organ I'll consider as soon as I have in indication of frame set pricing. Full bike pricing from On-One is coming in at £2000 - £2500 with Marzocchi suspension and GX1 to X0/1 groupsets.
  25. You actually see this often from Pat. He just loves bikes and tinkering with them - almost can't help himself haha. Way back when, when we rode the first Zero and 110 proto's, I remember arriving to a ride on my bike (not a PYGA at that stage - see what I did?). Pat proceeded to retune the suspension - there, in the parking lot, kla. I then put that bike in his van and proceeded on the ride on a PYGA. Shortly thereafter, I sold the other bike - someone bought a bike with some nicely tuned suspension lol! As you've said, solid bunch of guys, the whole lot.
