  1. Fantastic morning on the Midlands...
  2. Brian Cookson, Tom Van Damme & myself at Cascades this morning.
  3. Chris King and Cycles Africa have been really great to deal with regards to this. Warranty replacement on it's way, despite some issues that were neither CK's nor Cycle Africa's problem. Kudos to them.
  4. This is correct. Due to me not being involved in the lacing of the wheel, CK have agreed to warranty replace it. Now to decide if I want to stick to the radial lacing and get the R45 or keep the high flange hub but cross lace it...
  5. Haha! Claim it! Lol...
  6. These seem to be CX specific hubs. Laced by someone at The Syndicate...
  7. I don't understand the point of this post? How does it contribute to the Hungry Monkey review?
  8. Time to start riding in a cotton T again!
  9. Kona are doing some good things of late. Looks like they've found their old groove.
  10. Yoh! Slacknlow.
  11. Chris King have been great to deal with so far. Hopefully I come right.
  12. According to Chris King it's a Classic High Flange Cross hub. Visual difference seem to be the higher flange and the bigger/ wider body.
  13. I'd say it's more an answer to the touring, gravel grinding, CX, drop bar MTB crowd. These ratios work for that. We've been using SRAM MTB components with SRAM STIs, Shimano with bar-end shifters, or Genevalle/ Retroshift setups to achieve the same thing. It's a nice offering.
  14. Great news! Glad you're enjoying it.
  15. As with most of the 'review' articles...? It's an opportunity for the distributors, shops, service providers to connect with customers through a reputable forum. Rush Sports stand to benefit from such an article, but I think that's great. They're a good bunch of guys that offer great levels of service. As with most of the other representatives discussed/ highlighted/ promoted previously. I know I've taken Nick up on an opportunity to review an On-One product in the near future and yes, I hope it does lead to some marketing/ advertising/ promoting. Watch this space.
  16. Definately a fun bike. Makes a lot of sense for all the great trails we have to ride. It's proving popular.
  17. Goes with the theme of the Parkwood. The logos are "pixel/ gamer/ PacMan" like. Guess it's a play on the good old Game Over query . Just a bit of fun.
  18. I can't take credit for that. My customer had a very clear idea of what he wanted the frame to look like. I just put him and Bogus together.
  19. will be posting more pics as the build progresses.
  20. Sneak peak of a customers frame getting some Bogus attention...
  21. CHOC 100 Mile Cadence 'ride' last Friday. With some team support from my youngest.
  22. Not much forward momentum but one hell of a ride for me... My youngest popped in to give some team support at the CHOC 100Mile Cadence ride last Friday. @Shebeen - that's Mr Barnes next to us, pushing out a bazillion watts!
  23. Other weekend rides were less traumatic...
  24. So in the spirit of competition (NotSoBigBen) - this happened to my Chris King hub on this weekends road ride...
