  1. Here goes... Karkloof morning. iPhone 5.
  2. 32x16 on a 29r will be tough. Start with 32x18/ 32x20 (or a ratio of this)... 38x22 perhaps... Or take Bogus One up on his offer of the 32 and use the 18 .
  3. Could've been Charge. Same place as the seat. Otherwise Brooks, Arundel, etc...
  4. Still changing ratios. Change the back, change the front... either way.
  5. And it's 400m ascent...
  6. See. I knew someone would have a chirp... Where's flat? Welkom?...
  7. I'd much rather stop and piss than have another mans hand on my lower back while trying to pee...
  8. Looks like he's waiting for his mates to come hold him up... Need. To. Pee.
  9. Crumbs. Unless you live the Karoo, I'm going to say you'll be swopping out the 38... Beaut ride though.
  10. Haha. Boss, you missed the classifieds. The Fatty is probably just arrived with its new owner - a very well known, talented Hubber... The BFe will be built up for the missus at this stage. 120mm Recon, XT/ SLX components, XT/ DT Swiss wheels, pink bits here and there...
  11. I've just sold my SID to get a more appropriate fork for my BFe. Nice ride.
  12. 0:51 - fast becoming my favourite time slot... haha!!!
  13. 0:51 - I'm going to leap into this bath of water... no... wait... 0:53 - doesn't deserve the food with that effort. Haha - great clip.
  14. HA HA HA HA HA!!!! The box, and the two dogs... Like, WTF?! Lol... As DJR said - probably enjoyed that a little more than I should've.
  15. Those will be perfect .
  16. How wide are those bars?
  17. He's refering to the 42T range extender... slots in at the top of the cassette to give a bigger range of ratios.
  18. Posted this in the MTB SS thread... I think it deserves a repost... New decals for the ENVEs.
  19. For anyone who may be interested. I have some Shimano 600 bits n pieces for sale. Just about a full groupset. I have a 9 speed cassette that I can include. https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/116371-shimano-600-groupset-components/
  20. Interesting that you've fitted the chain ring on the outside of a triple crank...
  21. What I was getting at .
  22. Sometime ago on special from a local online store. Looking now though, SS chainrings are around R400. NW come in around R700. This is comparing the same brand (not really apples with apples comparing a Dartmoor or Blackspire to one of these local NW brands until we know the longevity of these).
  23. Gusset - I'm assuming this a standard SS chainring? Not a NW. I've found normal SS chain rings to be cheaper than NW and work really well (for the purpose they intended).
