  1. 3T must be a minor donor to the cause...
  2. Thomson Masterpiece Carbon cranks RS SID Tune hubs Lots of ways, but not worth it in my book... expensive couple grams to shed...
  3. Nice Monark... looking forward to a SS ride once built
  4. With those tats, the man should be on a CX bike or riding a SS...
  5. You missed the moerse knife above the ninja star...
  6. It makes no sense on a fat bike frame with smaller tyres, and I know thats the point - but this isn't a new idea. Guys have been doing this (monster crossing) with Niner and Salsa (and Inbred) mtb frames for years now. I know it's a fatbike frame but kinda seems really counter intuitive to fit smaller wheel sand tyres when you can do exactly this on a standard 29r mtb frame... I would prefer to see it with the drops and keeping the fat tyres (or at least 3.0" tyres)... This kind of stuff is what makes On One cool though .
  7. I'm sure this one can get to PTA... Otherwise check the Momsen site for local dealers.
  8. https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/113725-momsen-junior-lite-24-inch-73-kg/ Not sure of sizing, but this is what I'm talking about...
  9. Way... waaaaay on the other end of the spectrum.
  10. Seems to have a long top tube with a short stem setup - nice and stable despite the racey head angle... Weight weenies won't be happy with the solid chainring though.
  11. One of the Momsen kids bikes with slicks of smaller tyres?... Fit drops for the proper 'monstercross' effect...
  12. Pretty much what I do with mine
  13. Nice Shebeen... Didn't notice the crocs - could barely see the bike through the glare from that remarkably shiny floor!!!
  14. No BRAIN suspension. #disapppointed
  15. Many might say if cycling isn't niche to you then you're doing it wrong... XC Enduro Trail Singlespeed Marathon etc etc I definately think fat bikes are a niche that will fit into a sport full of niches.
  16. There was a roadrat floating around which could work... will need to be SS though.
  17. They're super fun. My OnOne gets regular workouts on the Karkloof and Howick trails...
  18. In the pic is seems they've simply built a frame around moerse wheels and haven't thought much about workable geometry... what with the saddle so low etc... unless they've just lowered it for the shorty rider... And yes, those rotors!!!
  19. I think in this pic "Vegan" means hipster...?
  20. Interesting that the majority of these 'forward thinking experts' cannot see beyond sand and snow when it comes to these bikes. My guess is Mannie, Victor and Grant are the only ones who've actually ridden them. They're not limited to sand and snow and are a huge amount of fun on 'typical' SA trails too. Grant and Pat summed it up well for me. Fun bikes. Everything's a fad until it's not.
  21. Yoh - gears delux!
  22. I know that fork - you're lucky you have it...
  23. Me too - mines taking me to coffee at the LBS.
  24. Dirty Sixer.... .... .... 36er.... .... ....
