    Apparently some can work but they usually run on a 50mm rim. I doubt they'll fit in your frame though. Fork shouldn't be a problem.

    On the X? Built it up with the ENVE's first time. On my SIR I had Crests before building up my ENVE XCs.

    Your first paragraph describes exactly why I built my Cotic and what I use it for. Of course it can work - Personally I wouldn't be able to find Luxy type bars with a wide enough flat top for such a ride. But many guys use them on backpacking/ touring type setups. Depends what kind of RASA you're attempting I guess.

    Was reading the thread on my phone - thought you were refering to BigBens build as being a CX. Didn't realise you were refering to a previous post regarding the RLT. It's definately close to a CX bike but with some subtle differences, especially that they have a dedicated CX in the BSB. On a scale of CX bike to Monstercross the RLT slides towards the CX IMO.

    RLT isn't a monstercross. Slightly slacker geo than a CX. Like a Sportive vs a Race bike. It's a gravel grinder. The BSB is CX. Neither are monstercross.

    Gone for the Solaris instead of the Simple. Going to run a tensioner presumably. Great frame. Ran mine with a tensioner with no hassles.
