  1. If it was the least expensive I dont think they have tracking numbers. I ordered a saddle on 26 Nov 2010 and it only arrived on the 15 Jan 2011. On the box it says it was shipped on the 28 Nov. I think its more a local problem. Probably sits in customs until somebody pulls their finger out. Couldnt wait anymore so I bought a Anrione from CWC three days and I had it. Dont know what to do with the brand new Antares?
  2. Got a H number but will be riding with Buchu in J. (also in a red Ceres top) You dont have to worry about buchu on a climb he's a machine. Only thing you have to worry about is getting dropped.
  3. Mabe other countries get a full hour of epic.
  4. If its anything like the epic coverage it will be crap. How can you only have half an hour highlights every evening for probably the biggest mountain bike race in the world? Then you get a whole hour of tour of Qatar?????? Can someone explain this to me, we get half and hour coverage for local and hour for international!!!!
  5. I agree but why does a Morewood cost so much? I know its a great bike but it is local. Do the local guys also jump on the band wagon or do they think if it cost less people will think it cheap?
  6. Dont worry only you did.
  7. Sorry Mr. Dangle, forgot I was back at school.
  8. This is a no brainer, dual all the way. I think you might find 5 out of 100 people telling you different. Only ones riding hard tails are racing snakes. (or people who dont bounce)
  9. Got Mavic ksyrium SR. Used to free wheel about the same as my friend down a hill, now he struggles to stay in my slip stream. You cant beleive it, it feels like cheating.
  10. Get Mavics Ksyrium SR wheels they roll great.
  11. I agree to a cetain extent, but if you selling something you should least know how old it is, that is the first thing somebody is going to ask and if you have put the wrong age in(I think can only be on purpose) then you should be caught out. If you dont know the age then say so or ask fellow hubbers if they know.
  12. I'm with splat here. You cant go wrong with the Giant TCR ultegra. Best buy for your buck. You could go for TCR 105 I know King Cycles Worcester sells them around the 14K mark. Not to sure what the ultegra would go for.
  13. I would never do it on a road bike. I like to know when those big trucks are going to come past, so you can brace yourself for the rushing wind.
  14. Dude its perfect in every way, just that colour is for girls.
  15. I agree my biggest problem is they dont take into account where you started from. I'm a L rider but I started with my friend in N. Did a sub 3 hr and they give me a seeding for this race of I. My freind I cam first and second in N, I won L came 16/43 in H, 11/32 in I and 5/41 in J. Can they not see that we had to ride on our own with no wheel suck to make that time? So they give me a seeding of I but I would have come mid pack in G 20/35 so how does that work?
  16. Hi did you not read the whole post? At the time I wrote the post it was at 10 % 5 minutes later they changed to 34%. Dont know how to delete the post.
  17. Hi all I see the seeding for the Cape Cobra is out on PPA. Now they tell us to do harder races to better our seeding like the Cape Cobra. I know it was only 85kms (not 100kms for a 34% weighting) but a very tough 85kms. How can they only make it a 10% weighting it had more elevation than the Argus? Ok got a bit quick on the draw I see they have just changed it to 34%. Thanks PPA
  18. Done Bains few times as well. Way to bumpy for a road bike though.
  19. Got to agree with Veloria and Tankman the time I road it the cars give you alot of space and dont tend to speed. From Rooi Els to Kleinmond is nice wide yellow line.
  20. Doing the race on the 16th. Did any of you guys have a garmin if so can you put the elevation and gradient up please.. thanks
  21. Rode from Betty's Bay to Gordons Bay and back one of the best rides i've had, no wind and the sea was like glass. Great ride and great views. Traffic not a big problem they dont tend to burn it through there.
  22. Depends on how serious you want to ride. You dont want to start at the back of the field if you are a strong rider. Its also nice to see if you are getting better if your seeding does go up.
  23. At the end of the day a good wash with anything should have taken those marks out. Looks like a Morewood problem. I would contact them before using something that mess up the waranty.
  24. are these pics after the wash cause it looks like your bottle cage has the same problem
  25. I am keen cyclist and try to ride one behind the other on the roads. But going past the Theewaterkloof dam just past the golf course on Monday. A man and women are riding wide abreast on a blind rise with no yellow line and he's gestering to cars to come past or not. Then he gets pissed off when people hoot. This would not be so bad had they not been on mountain bikes. Come on dude ride on the side of the tar if you want to ride abreast.
