No question you have to do it great training ride for the Argus. Whats happening in August MCipollini?

I think the 99er is tougher than the Argus as the big climb is near the end and it ends on a nasty little climb also this year it was about 11km further because of road works don't know what will happen next year. The total ascent is about 250 metres less but it doesn't feel that way. 99er is alot more boring than the Argus and the roads not the greatest and also too narrow. The short route riders also come into play near the end which is not great.

Thats what I'm getting at if you guys had hammered after hels I don't think us in the second bunch would have caught you guys. My question is do the leading ladies slow the bunch down? We in the second bunch had a great train going about 15 of us pulling hard only staying on the front for about 10 seconds and caught you guys quite easily.

Amazing how they keep themselves at the front and out of trouble good technical riding I guess. Obviously respected by the men in the front otherwise they would not be let back into the pace line.

Howzit Tiny my climbing is not the best so split happended on top of Helz but helped the group catch the main group (%) again burnt a few matches doing so. So stayed near the middle to back of the bunch. Just would like to know how much of the time were the top ladies helping in the front of the group, because every corner we go round where I can see them they always sitting 3rd or 4th wheel.

I must have been with you there I was in the Nandos top that truck pissed me off lost all the momentum. Still had a good clean ride perfect weather, nice to have a little tail wind at the end. Did a 2h20 happy about that.

You can get someone to collect it for you just make you sure they got your name and race number.

Yes probably pulling away in % group, bit worried about the rain though. After my big crash in the 99er from % group I have lost alot of confidence in the rain. Didn't enjoy the big downhill in the DC in the wind and rain. If they still predict rain I will maybe bring the mountain bike and ride with my brother in G.

Not alot of guys broke 3hrs from J so just try to stay with the front guys up hels and you never know you might catch the group in front and you should break 3hrs no problem.

If you not in a better group than E I think you can pretty much forget even with perfect weather.

As a Stormers supporter I agree with you he should never have dropped Tiechman for Skinstad. Tiechman was a great captain and to drop your captain just before a world cup was not clever but we were only one drop goal (f***ing Larkam LOL) away from the trophy. Same thing happend to Tiaan Strauss in 95 and one drop goal won it, so margins are so small in world cups.

I agree with Mallet on yesterdays game if can't go all out attack with 0 time on the board and 11 points up (can't lose the game) against the 8 ranked team in the world then how screwed up must your mindset be.

So he is not riding backup for Burry next year? That is great news I think Max Knox is better than DG.

I think you right locally I don't see any team stronger than that combo. The problem comes Knox won't leave specialized and if Evans joins them he will only be riding as a support rider for Burry and Suzzie.
