  1. 2 evil questions: 1) how does that sag indicator work on the frame? 2) does any one know what the factory install of volume spacers in the following V1 monarch is?
  2. Stoke have one and will fit for you.
  3. https://flareclothingco.com/ have a 5th Birthday 50% discount using 'HAPPYBIRTHDAY', even on their sale items. Nice kit as well. Killer ladies gear. I got (guys) Tee's, jerseys and shorts for a bargain. Now all I have to do is wait for some one coming back from up there.

  5. Looks good and decent pricing? Probably not then.
  6. That looks ready to paaaaaaar-tay
  7. The irony is I have just bought a nice frame that is perfect for this kind of enduro and now I don't have enough cash this month to enter the kind of enduro this frame is perfect for. #idiot.
  8. Indeed. That said it worked for Vitus.
  9. For all CT bros. I was in Canal Walk on the weekend and they have 30% off their Proframe helmets. R3999 full price makes it about R2.7k after the discount and is on for about a week.
  10. There are some amazing trails around that area. I've had the honour of being taken on a couple of rides by some land owners who are more interested in downs than distance. Please look at some trails that are more focused and on enduro / am than just pumping distance. More 20km with 900+ To 1400 ascent / descent / distance would be awesome. The terrain in that dolhof area has some serious chutes on the left ridge. Since black closed i'm left scratching my head about the under utilization of the awesomeness there. Imagine a route from the top of the pass down. So good.
  11. Just called them, cancelled. Shame.
  12. Is this sold out or past the entry date? Update: Cancelled.
  13. Ahhh. Fat shaming my bike. Got it.
  14. Ha, ha, ha. That will keep popping into my mind this weekend when I'm building up my Following. Edit: I've been trying to work it out. What is Saddles bag fat and what does it look like? and don't say it's like an evil head tube. I'm scared to google it.
  15. You're right. I've got that feeling with every Knolly. This is probably the closest to one that looks buyable and I'm intrigued by the different height chain stays and all that weird thickness on the down tube and shock mounting.
  16. Wow, that is super generous. Troops and Co are a pro outfit of trail builders and cost so I wonder who is covering their costs. Pretty stoked as it's going to be my new fitness angle. I can winch up long climbs and then hammer down no worries but sprinting around that lil' loop as fast as possible was a different work out all together.
  17. Don't expect a Tokai Cobra (or even Vasbyt) but it's here...
  18. Justin @ Freewheel Cycology. I called them as their name is on each of the route markers and seemed like a good start. I tried calling TMNP but couldn't get any response. I'll try again tomorrow. If any one knows more details then please confirm. I know when it launched back in about 2016 you needed a permit from The Gear Change or Table Mountain Bikers but post on this thread in 2017 seems to suggest that ended. I'll also ride past TGC tomorrow and see what they say.
  19. So it seems that you can ride it with a standard Table Mountain Activity Card.
  20. What I liked was you could ride the little rock rolls or the chutes normally or take a different line and make it more of your own, a bit more interesting. Like roll in from that underground water tank rather than just come round the trail or make a drop off the bigger rock roll rather than the step downs that are there. Quite nicely thought out for a play track. I'll ring freewheel cycology as their logos are on the sign boards.
  21. Any one know what's the deal with the track at the moment? I rode there ages ago when it was first new and it was a bit of fun but actually a bit boring. I had a ride this morning down there and was really surprised. Seems like Trail Troops have been doing a bit of work there and now there are some cool little tech features. Couple of rock rolls a little chute and some pump features. Look, it's not Jonkers but I had a blast and you can really make some skills improvement with some of the bits they've added as well as flow on the berms. Truthfully, my 'trail bike' was a bit wallowy and a steel hard tail would be great there. Well done who ever is looking after it and do I need permit? Don't want to be poaching the track if I'm not supposed to be there and will get one asap if I do.
  22. That ^ and finally some mass produced progressive springs.
  23. How long do you spend choosing before going for a ride?
