  2. a rim is a rim.. disk rims just look nicer with more room for decals etc. had a set of avg rims on Disk XTR hubs for a long time. worked like a rim should.
  3. LOL whomever you are chatting with.. stop chatting to them

  5. LOL... LUST An acronym which stands for “Lightweight Ultimate Sidewall Technology".
  6. LOL the tribe has spoken.. bring jou torch...
  7. ah sorry i bought a 26" wow fitted the LUST tubeless version on my UST wheels... much much better cornering.. no more wobbly sidewall trying to peel off the rim. the original none tubeless version has paperthin sidewalls.
  8. bought a LUST UST Crossmark(maxxis) @ solomons cycles in woodmead for R350 on tuesday.
  9. and staying on the rim better...
  10. eish i have Maxxis none-UST tires on my Mavic SLR UST wheels.. the front tyre has climbed off the rim or fast cornering twice leaving me crashing into the ground... wheels pumped hard.. i have now bought a UST tire for the front wheel with hopes the thicker sidewall will stick better... will use none UST at tha back for there is less danger.. im **** scared at the moment going hard into a corner... hopefully the UST tire will sort it out.
  11. i see alot of high spec'd bikes on the road in suburbs... in use by low-->no-income commuters. each time i first make sure its not one of my own bikes they pedaling around on... i think the cops have their hands full with murders and armed robberies and bicycles are not on their morning agenda.
  12. goodluck... i found out my "clicking" are my pedals which are now moeg...
  13. i dont think copperslip+bearing is a good idea... the copperslip might seize it up? copperslip and anything with thread is a good idea between metal+metal. has too be something that is either too lose or too tight.. i suppose you will have to trial+error and write down exactly what you've done so that you can work through process of elimination. goodluck.
  14. Reebok bikes have a belt that is much much quieter than the normal chain drive spinning bikes. the belt is like a cars cambelt, very strong and will most prob last a lifetime.
  15. i have the Larson TT on the rear (normal foldable on mavic SLR wheel) and the Crossmark on the fron also normal none UST tire.. the tires works well for me, although the front tire has seperated from the rim twice whilst riding(tire pressure hard) and had 2 spectacular crashes each time.. i suspect its because of the none UST tire on UST rim? other than that the crossmark seems to grip well for me.
  16. i enjoy the spinning bike indoors, once set up it is 100% , the wear and tear and continuous setting up on the riding bikes will spoil it for me.
  17. proper seatpost saved my ass+lowerback on the Hardtail.
  18. hehe ok tx will give it a try sometime.
  19. quick question, do you apply the pre ride cream to yourself or the padding of the cycling shorts?
