  1. very lekker guys!! jeepers creepers, i am getting better with the printing aspects, but i realize i am now at the point where i need to learn how to draw things... i saw fusion 360 and 123d drawing.. i think its a good starting point for a nobody like me. sorry i only saw the replies to my comment on my prusa built... apologies i should have specified its a prusa-like kit (those ones being sold by most shops based on the prusa design) , in the meantime i bought a wanhao duplicator 6+ and a flashforge adv 3 they print extremely well, but now i need to learn to draw my own stuffies... i take my hat off for you guys that are capable of drawing your own stuff already.
  2. I have assembled my prusa mk3 kit, still need to connect, calibrate etc.... but very hopeful that i will be able to figure out niggles easily.

  16. Nice one rookie, i also had a blast, bike was good for me, swimming was challenging since i could only do backstroke (still learning freestyle), run was also good for me. 37min swim no walking. 90min cycle and 58min run.

  21. thanks for the vote of confidence im doing much better with the swimming, guess i just should not stop moving forward then at this stage i still require rest after swimming 50m lengths, so pushing 50m at a time.. 50m x {crapload} to cover 1500m eish.
  22. hi all, i just want to clarify the time cut offs for the 5150 events, i have heard i have only 60minutes to complete the 1,5km swim , is this correct? the bike and run i have no issues with, just concerned that i might not be able to complete the swim within the 60min timeframe.
  23. thanks for all the efforts, everybody involved.
