  1. thanks a stack, im trying to get the right habbits from the start, but will give it a go. was planning on placing the gopro on tripod at the poolside to see where what i am messing up, to correct progressively will take it easy and just keep trying.
  2. tx again, much appreciated and thankful for this thread
  3. thanks guys, also checked the vids and learning alot.. i feel happy reading the timeframe of getting comfy int he water, yikes its quite a "bomskok" mission in the beginning. was just wondering if there is a set place to "start" with the whole swimming deal. im swallowing so much water im scared im gonna get a bill at the end of my "so called" training session hahaha, and the pool water buggers up my throat. so trying to get swim fit, but not getting the swimming part done in order to get fit to swim better.. catch 22 bwa ha ha. so my plan was to swim till i start gasping(swalowing water) then to stop, and then just practice the stroke etc whilst being stationary. then do this couple times a week, to get better whilst progressively getting more swim fit, and not swollowing more water bleh!
  4. hi guys im also new tot he tri-game. the swimming is the biggest issue for me at this point. at what stage do you decide to get lessons? im not "swim fit" and not sure how to get swim fit without swallowing all the pool water possible during a session grrr where do one start with the swimming training?
  5. do a search for my previous posts, i shared a link to spinning workout programs , 101 cycling workouts etc.
  6. haha im contemplating the same thing... 24spoke rims on 24h hubs/3#H hubs. heres a link. 36H hub on 24Spoke rim.
  7. changed my hardtails seatpost to specialized pave carbon seatpost with a little rubber insert at the top. made a massive difference in how my kidneys feel after a long ride. handlebar also made a noticeable difference. i have 2 hardtails with 100% same setup. only differences are the carbon seatpost and handlebar. my bike without these bits ride bloody hard. (same tires on both bikes, same geometry etc).
  8. eish...
  9. btw how tall are you and what bike do u currently ride? size is sometimes a bit different ito CM's vs geometry. i am 1.82m tall and ride medium hardtails, used to own a L softtail but it was a boat compared to a medium. measure the Medium mongoose or ask some1 that owns one for a test ride on theirs(same size) and c for yourself.
  10. also back to 2bottles on the hardtail, have 3types of hydrapacks and they are all too freakin hot summer.
  11. thts the big problem! plain old looking bike is tops. im keen on wrapping electrical tape over the stickers of my commuters exp parts. so it look slike just another bicycle.. v-brakes no discs
  12. some1 posted a link a while ago which stated that the milking creams have an ingredient which when expires can be seriously bad for you. not sure how true it is? havnt used mine ever since ;(
  13. +1 all my dealings were super with him. cool stand up guy
  14. will pay to see tube+superglue+tire-sealant hold up. tubeless+superglue is different story.
  15. just use an injection syringe instead of bottle over valve nut.. remove core first ovbiously. this sealant+tube approach will work with small thorns. cuts and snakebites you are stuffed. other crap is if the sealant doesnt plug the hole in the tube, u cannot patch it anymore because of the sealant reacting with the patch glue. then tube is in the dustbin.
  16. jeepers the whole thread went to the dogs.... one thing ive learnt, if you want to follow God, good, if you dont then you dont. its simple.(everyone is entitled an opinion and choice). its the embarassing stuff religion (all of them) brings to the table that splits everything apart. anyhoo hope this things doesnt get uglier than it already has.
  17. LOL tht was a funny movie if eskeleto only had a PB bracelet in those days.. tsk tsk. should email him this thread for the sale of the century.
  18. is it a used one? how does the expiry date look like? many happy miles left in the bracelet? the correct color for my application?
  19. LOL funny guy ;[) any1 "selling religion" deos not have the true gospel. the intention of faith is not to cure your day to day problems its there to be a reminder of hope for the future whilst you are part of a broken world. faith != $$$ Faith = free powerbalance = false advertising Jesus gave us the full low down stating that if we want to follow Him, we need to be aware of what we getting ourselves into. (no scam, no false advertising). btw.. hope the powerbalance stuff gets out of town so the next scam can entertain us on boring work days have a super day.
  20. LMGA! could be these tires are cheaper for a reason ... as JB says.. put it on the rear wheel.. and good luck with the next tire you gonna try up front.
