  1. Looking for one that has screw mounts and not those that strap to the top tube. Example: https://ridefarr.com/int/product/toptube-aero-bag-farr/
  2. For me, I'd get the Forerunner 45 over 35. Really good watch and can get it for cheaper now that the 55 just came out. The 35 looks outdated nowadays, the 45 has a nice colour screen. Also Firstbeat analytics on the 45 should give better heart rate data.
  3. Kudos for asking the people what they want and doing some market research ????
  4. That Krups grinder will most likely not grind fine enough for proper espresso.
  5. Apologies, he has the Neo which I think has a fixed beam. Will look at the MH4. Thank you.
  6. This light was suggested online a few times, I did a quick search but didn't find a local supplier, I now see there are after a better search. Thank you. Just saw that the battery has +/- 500 discharges, can it be replaced? Is it a proprietary battery?
  7. You have this light? My mate has a led lenser but reckons the focus is too broad and not focused enough. Not sure if its the same model though, will find out.
  8. Will look into the Storm, I see Black Diamond is quite popular but they come at a cost, hence looking for alternatives. Thanks. That Petzl Nao is probably too cumbersome for me. I do see Camp and Climb have other Petzl offerings that perhaps I should look at.
  9. Looking for an upgrade headlamp. Currently using a cheapie Energizer and the batteries are becoming costly to replace and need something brighter. Environment: Table mountain trails in dark mornings. Budget: Around R800 preferably, can push it if need be. Non Negotiables: Must be rechargeable and at least 200 lumens. What you guys recommend/using?
  10. Got my wipers from EvoBikes for my lowers service for the same fork. It was RS and not SFK. Cant remember what I paid, was between R200-R350. And as Alouette3 said.. - Sram Butter (Droo from Stoke sold me a small tub for around 200 bucks) - Castrol Magnetec 5W-30 as a replacement for Rockshox 15Wt (Bought some at Midas) You can definitely service the lowers yourself with little tools, the manual is pretty clear, shout if you need help.

  12. Nice, sometimes its more fun to fix things yourself for pennies than going back to the OEM just for the same part to fail again down the line.
  13. You can take your application, photo ID's and R380 to uitsig bike park. They then head to the office with other applications likes yours and get the cards processed. Super easy. Nice group discount.
  14. Any long term feedback on these?
  15. PM sent ???? If there's someone else on the hub who also needs a renewal, just shout.
  16. You're probably better off with a Eureka as the Rocky is stepped and might limit micro adjusting your grinds AFAIK. Haven't owned either but that's what research has brought up. Also, your wife will prefer the Eureka, easier on the eyes over the Rocky.
  17. Would have liked to try it but the R120 shipping got me, bummer.
  18. https://nexusgroup.co.za/ I believe they service Gaggia.
  19. Citric acid and aluminium do not mix well. I believe most aluminium descalers offered by brands contain lactic acid. I've read it's probably okay to use abit of citric acid but not longer than 20 minutes. I'd like to find some local alternatives before I have to go that route.
  20. Gaggia Classic and aluminium boiler machine owners, what are you guys using to descale your machines? Looking to avoid Dezcal/citric acid if I can. CPT based.
  21. Beautiful. So do you give them the entire machine and they disassemble or must you strip it and give them them body?
