  5. Thanks Droo. My concern came from this thread where a user compared the difference of thread size on the dust cap of the 35 fork and a Pike fork. Source: https://www.mtbr.com/threads/rockshox-35-gold-rl-disassemble-%E2%80%93-what%E2%80%99s-inside.1142709/
  6. Looking for a 35mm seal kit for my Rockshox 35 fork, anybody know a place that stocks? I've read that they're different to the 35mm found on the Pike, Lyrik, etc. as below: https://www.evobikes.co.za/product/rockshox-dust-seal-foam-ring-kit-for-35mm-upper-tubes/

  10. Cheers thanks!
  11. What time do Tokai trails open?
  12. Was looking at this or the Breville. Saw a youtuber have to purge the Delonghi to let it cool after drawing the espresso in order to froth the milk. Any experience with this or not really an issue?
  13. Been looking for a straight steerer air fork for ages but no luck. If anyone has one laying around and wants something for it, please let me know.
  14. Appreciate it. I would have dropped it on the main Jeep track next to vasbyt and vasbyt lower. Was heading down that way, could be anywhere from the top of the jeep track next to vasbyt, all the way to the main exit gate. Thanks.
  15. Long shot here... 100% Glove lost yesterday at Tokai, orange in colour but probably sand brown after yesterday's rainfall. Cheers.
  16. Wow you can get almost anything on Takealot nowadays. Came across Bell motorcycle helmets the other day on there and they're cheaper than most stores, understandably.
  17. I have the Forerunner 245. Looks like the VA 4 might be larger and its a little curved, nevertheless you welcome to have one.
  18. Got mine on amazon. What watch you do you have? I have one or 2 spare ones.
  19. I see it doesnt have a zip pocket(I think). How's the main pocket for storing a large phone?
  20. Frosty this is why you gotta pay the premium for Garmin. They in cahoots with Discovery haha! I cancelled that vitality ages ago, it's a scam
  21. Yup, very true. Reviews can be hit or miss sometimes. I find that the best way to get good reviews are on forums. It's unbiased opinion/frustrations/recommendations. I would normally just Google: "Lezyne mega c GPS review forum" and you'll sometimes find great information for a product that you might be after. Here's a decent amount of user info with the above search: https://www.trainerroad.com/forum/t/lezyne-latest-gps-any-feedback/15570/14
  22. I'm in the same boat as you pretty much. I currently use my Forerunner with optical HR which is perfect for post ride analytics (im not a data junkie, I just ride my bike). But wouldn't mind a mid-level gps computer as it's a little safer than checking the watch during a ride. And I'd like to use it for new trails on weekend getaways. I believe turn-by-turn/wrong turn is better when online versus offline. So if you test both options that would be great.
  23. Thanks for the review Frosty. It's always nice to have a local opinion about niche/unpopular products. This is definitely on my radar, I was just concerned that a new one might be introduced as this model is from mid 2018, however I'm not sure how frequent new models come out so it may even be a unwarranted concern. If you've tried it, I'd like to know how's the navigation or turn-by-turn offering on the Mega C on the trails? Both offline and online possibly? Cheers
  24. So I actually overlooked those IceToolz as it said compatible with Shimano BB's. Therefore I ruled it out. But it seems that that IceToolz tool is compatible with Shimano 68/73 bottom brackets, which is the same as my Sram dub bsa(68/73). So it may actually fit, I just need a 12 notch by the looks of it. With regard to the closed spanner. This would actually be a first prize option as I won't need to still get a wrench for the the above mentioned tool. I don't see any 12 notch closed spanners online. But thanks for the heads up, closed spanner would be ideal. Might need to give those guys a call. Thanks for the help. New area of operating on the bike for me. Cheers.
