it depends on what the situation there is..like for instance the mister price rider couldnt keep the wheel in front of him or at one way or another left a gap to the rider up front..its only sportmanly and proffesional to give the rider behind you a slight push or even "madison style" throw to the rider up front again.

swiming is especially good for your cycling because it take place in a oxygen deprived enviroment. you take less and deeper breathes while swimming..and your body becomes accustome to take in more oxygen into the lungs and use it more effictively..with other words it increases your VO2 max..which could aid you tremondously on climbs.. by the way swimmers have the highest VO2 max in general. Dont over do it though, because you can build muscles that you don't really need for cycling. and then its just extra mass.

on long TT's they use it quite extensively but on a short prologue they might look down once or twice at it. Its really then more as to collect data and view it latter on and use it as an accsess point for future reference..

the picture shows that nolan might have been 6th place but not too far behind..He is sprinting against older and much more expierenced men than him..With the proper pampering and support he needs, he is going to be a great champion..Respect

also look how young the SA pro peloton is..herman fouche, christoph van heerden, john lee augusteyn, Daryll impey, Nolan hoffman, jacques janse van rensburg, jaco venter, johan rabie all a believe has a really good chance too turn pro continetal al the least.. as well as a few promising first years yet to prove themselves against the pro's and also some names I cant recall at the top of my head right now Racing Hart2008-02-17 12:32:27

firsty that why I encourage the recreational riders to pitch up to watch the race..spectators causes bigger sponspors and that causes much much more proffesiolism and that leads to bigger and better racing..a lot more than what they can do for cycling than riding for fun way behind and seeing bugger all of what happend. I am not saying they should have their events, they deffnitly should and organising those event should get just as much if not more attention than the profesional/competive(bad term: "license" events) secondly we can!! we proved that in langkawi several top10, 5th team on GC and 9th overall on GC not to bad for "DREAMERS?"..And again in worldsview! Race 3 : 1st 4 going to South african as well as lot of other real good results!
