  1. Flossing with hair, does that still happen.
  2. Get some hair clippers and use it without the plastic combs for in between shaving. Clicks has a man specific hair removal cream. Cant remember the name its a blue and silver tube with a bald guy on. Works better than Veet.

  9. Wat gaan hier aan? Ek draai my rug en gaan doen werk en julle klets al weer. Seriously I hope the hub doesnt end up like gumfree.
  10. I found that the main dimensions to be concerned about is top tube and head tube. If you need a shorter head tube you might get away by getting a shorter stem or if your head tube is too long you might need to lose some spacers. Most shoulder and neck pain I experienced was from my reach being to cramped and my drop from saddle to handlebar was too low Discuss it with your fitter after assessment and I am sure you can make some tweaks. Atleast when you are in the market again for a new frame you have a better idea what to buy.
  11. I currently ride a large Scott. After Ergofit I need a frame with a 55.5cm TT and at best a 17cm headtube. My stem length is at 100mm and my cranks need to be 175cm as an ideal but I can use 172.5mm. As previous posters have said it takes into account flexibility, riding style and frequency. Consider that your leg lenth and torso length might not be the right ratio as say someone else of a similiar height.Yes the pros seem to have their stems slammed down all the way with dimensions of 120 or more but cosider that they probably have custom frames so manufacturersncan play around with top tube and headtube dimensions to improve rigidity with a particular setup. I am much more comfortable now on my bike and did not need to change any components.
  12. Sounds a bit cheap for Assos. Make sure they not the lycra ones Bennie. Paid about that for First Ascent booties.
  13. Well my seller has has made good and made an effort to remedy the problem and its looking very promising. Thanks for all the comments and advice.
  14. Thanks for all the advice hubbers. Will leave the ball in the sellers court for now.
  15. Legal recourse is not an option as its not about the money and the amount is not worth it. I was prepared to just fix the component at my own cost but this is not possible either as it is useless. My posting here is just to get an opinion and not to name and shame as I am not prepared to do that.
  16. I have sent him a courtesy sms informing him of defect with no expectation as to what he should do. Will wait and see. I am not going to name and shame as it would be childish and could just have been bad luck.
  17. Bought something recently from a hubber fully knowing its secondhand and getting a decent price minus the postage as I had collected it personally. Asked the hubber to leave ad so I could give some feedback only to find an hour later it had been removed. Went for first ride with component fitted and started experiencing problems. When I got home I tried stripping it to lube only to find it had seized up completely. Yes I know we buy the goods here with no warranty, as is, voetstoots, but I thought at least here there was some etiquette thats why we give each other feedback. My question is did this hubber knowingly sell me a faulty item because he clearly removed ad, and do I even bother to ask him about it and get the expected answer that its not his problem. Is this his modus operande and do I let him get away with it and do it to someone else in the future?
  18. Aunty Helen doesn't allow that in the West. There is a strict set of rules for those blue light brigades. Even the Prez's convoy seems quite sedate after that jogger incudent here granted they send traffic police up the road to give motorists enough time to clear road. None of that bumper cars mayhem.
  19. Hesjedal wins the Giro 2012
  20. Went to Abu Dhabi last year November. Hotel wanted to charge for wifi. Just got a sim and loaded airtime. Skyped for long hours with family while there and probably spent less than R300 in total. Data roaming or even cell roaming is ridiculous.
