  1. http://www.cwcycles.co.za/sites/default/files/product_images/sidi_ergo3_carbon_liq_00_a.jpg I am not a big fan of white shoes but these are awesome. Puncheur just for you Liquigas special edition.
  2. I did it the other way around a few months back. Bought a bike for my son and took riser bars, dual controls off. Unfortunately I only had 9spd stis so i had to get new cassette, chain, deraileur to make it work. Which part of country are you in. Is yoyr Trek 8/9 speed. Still have the bars, 8spd shifters available if you are interested.

I have been to CL Winelands a few times and have only good things to say. Yes they are a new store and I hope their service can only get better. It makes a good impression when someone greets you by shaking your hand, introducing themselves and that from the workshop manager as well. Good luck to Deon, Owen and team. I would drive from Cpt if there service stays that way.
  4. I see there is only the first 3 stages for this week on Supersport and its half an hour highlights. Im gna catch the live feeds if I am work. Checkout www.steephill.tv if you have a good network feed. RAI is really good to watch in the afternoon even if it is in Italian. As long as you know the teams and riders you get a fair idea of whats going on. The commentators get really excited.
  5. Ride the new one. After all its a mountain bike race not a Road Race. How hard can it be. No mountainbikers were harmed in the making of this statement. The names of the offensive roadies have been changed to protect them from angry mountainbikers.
  6. Have you considered Willier. I think Complete Cyclist are the agents.
  7. I like the KTM pity its only available as a complete bike. Would like the option to put SRAM or Campy on. Have read only good things thus far.
  8. As it is on my Scott with a 17cm head tube I have been setup comfortably and there too my liking already too many spacers and I eally dont like the angled stem. I like the Roubaix and would like to know if anyone has had any breaks with Zerts as a factory fault.

I feel that if there is a problem I approach the manager. Have a chat to Steve in Cpt sure he will sort it out. We should be bringing these issues to the shop owners attention. Bringing it up here is all good and well but it does not solve the problem if there is one.

Try Winelands. You wont be dissapointed.
  11. Thanks @antonj. Would have loved the Tarmac but head tube too short. Would need more spacers and the size that does have a17cm HT has too long a top tube.
  12. Looking at getting a new bike and have narrowed it down to Spez Roubaix SL3 or KTM Revelator. I need a frame with close to a 17cm head tube and not more than a 55.5cm top tube and these two are the better options in terms of cost and quality. I dont know much besides reviews on the net. Unfortunately the Tarmac, Evo and TCR have the wrong dimensions? The Spez gives me the option to customize with components whereas the KTM only comes complete with Dura Ace or Ultegra. Has anyone had any bad experinces with the Spes's Zerts inserts. Any advice, thoughts or experiences would be welcomed. Thanks in advance.
  13. Sounds like you picked up pericarditis. If your heart rhythm is too erratic too shock it might be Atrial Fibrillation which can be chronic or happens intermittently. What meds has he put you on? Lot of older people have it permanently and theres nothing you can do about it. My advice is rest, no exercise . Whatever you do consult with your cardiologist first. I would wait to hear what he says when he sees you before you cancel TB, dont get your hopes up though. Remember heart muscle does not regenerate so now is not the time to play Rambo. Everything of the best with your recovery.
  14. I see you baby, shakin that ...............
  15. Seriously. Governing the length of socks and unzipped jerseys. Maybe now that Lance is gone the long socks must go. Roche must be getting really old 'n grumpy. I agree with Vaughters. They should be focusing on eradicating doping as it sets a bad precident for youngsters and gives the sport a bad name. For how much longer are they going to debate the radio issue.
  16. STIEK UIT JOU BANG DING! Reminds of Alpe d Huez. BTW when are they going back there ? I don't see it on this years TdF route.
  17. World rankings as of yesterday: 1. Tom Boonen 2 . Vincenzo Nibali 3. Samuel Sanchez 4. Peter Sagan 5. Joachim Rodriguez Team standings: 1. Omega Pharma Quickstep 2. Liquigas 3. Katusha 4. Astana 5. Green edge. Tour of Romandie starting today and Ivan Basso to do battle.
  18. Was hoping Vincenzo would get it. That was a gutsy break and to make up that time on tha group was awesome. Well done to Iglinsky. Read an article on the release of the Evo last year and Nibali commented that he was confident descending with the Supersix previously and when he pushed too far that's when he crashed breaking his collarbone. Now he feels with the Evo he has yet to reach that limit on the descents as the machine is just awesome.
  19. Last month waited two weeks for Bicycling to be available on Zinio after it hit shelves. I think the problem lies with Zinio
  20. Pc or Mac or Ipad? Downloaded new Bicycling to Ipad with no worries. Are you using network @ work or home or 3g.
  21. Checkout obike.co.za. Saw sum nice Cannondales there for 8 grand. 2010 Trail SL2 29er. Cyclelab also had some nice Titans and a Ktm for 8500.
