I went riding to Camps Bay yesterday and ended up doing wind surfing with my bike going up Camps Bay drive and home through Foreshore and Woodstock. If.... the wind blows don't expect any respite from wind coming down from mountain along Atlantic seaboard.

Going up Chappies today from Noordhoek side before you reach lookout point over Noordhoek beach I was keeping far left as the yellow line is on edge of tar road, I get passed slowly by motorist who moves over middle line to pass me. Following him is a guy in white Polo (numberplate SCAPE 3-WP) hooting at me, making rude gestures with middle finger repeatedly. As he is a few meters away he swerves his car to edge of road back and forth and then gestures rudely again with his middle finger. Please be safe out there hubbers. Seems he has an axe to grind.

Do people generally not read the rules of events? People still trying to sell their entries even though subs have closed on Friday. I hope they realise its not allowed to have someone else ride with your number if it was not substituted. I feel for those that can't make it on last minute but rules are rules.

I waited for 6 weeks for a parcel from UK. It only showed up on tracking as in SA 5 weeks after it left UK. The hold up is at JIMC. Once it is scanned in there it spends maybe 2 days getting through customs. JIMC are the culprits.

The A group guys that were caught were actually guys that got dropped from what I saw, I could have not seen everything, nonetheless as you say it is not allowed. The main A bunch was far ahead of VA afaik. Another thing that was explained by marshal was cutting across the white line would not be tolerated. I saw most of the VA , VB bunch ride most of the way in the middle and regularly someone would cross the line. This is not allowed and dangerous as there was no full road closure. I cringed a few times seeing riders cross the line on a rise with traffic coming in opposite direction. When I drove up behind A bunch on the R44 as well the same was been done and it seemed purely to gain a place further up in peleton.

According to FB he is new to league so was unaware of it. The team won nonetheless.

According to Alfa Bodyworks as seen on facebook video Shameeg Salie crossed the line in front of Jayde Julius who sat up bit then Shameeg was disqualified by PPA for not signing on.
