Don't have to apologise for a Campy equipped bike. I like that Campagnolo still make sliver aluminium components to euip a neo retro build to keep that classic look.

Strangely enough alot of Colnago's achievements were accomplished with Shimano groupsets but I cry myself to sleep telling myself it was more the frame than anything else. The Most bars can always be custom sprayed with Colnago decals. I am a lover though of classic Pinarellos from the Indurain days.

In terms of aesthetics this is true. I have been riding my C40 for a few weeks now and although it is more comfortable than my EP and climbs equally well I find that the general handling and descending especially is better on my EP. Would be nice to hear everyones thought on those who own bikes with both traditional and sloping geometry.

As long as they still make them with 'lugs' and it comes with Campy I'm happy.

Your skull is there to protect your brain but although there are no physical injuries to your head the sudden deceleration would have caused your brain to strike the inside of your skull due to inertia. Take note of headaches, drowsiness, change in behaviour, un-cordinated movements, nausea and vomiting. The fact that your helmet was broken so badly indicates seriousness of the impact. Seek medical advice and follow it.
