Quick few questions. Do most gravel bikes use mtb wheels with a thru-axle or specific CX disc brake wheels? Anyone here using a Campy CX gruppo? I see they have medium cage derailleurs that can accommodate an 11-32 cassette and hydro brakes developed with Magura.
With 14% VAT I always added 15.4% to purchase price ex postage. By my new calculations it should be 16.5% now, ex postage and ex bank 3-4% charged by some banks for international online transactions.
I have a shim on my 1 inch steerer to fit the stem but its to short to fit 1 1/8 inch spacers. The only online shop I have seen who has 1inch spacers is Evans Cycles UK. They are about R130-140 ex vat, ex postage which is about £15 (R250).
This brings back memories. My first bike in the 80's was similar to this including the paint scheme. If I remember correctly it cost about R800 at the time.
Used shorts a long time ago (80's to early 90's). After awhile I actually used clip-on suspenders to keep em up. Thankfully bibs came along. Will never go back to shorts again.
