Stage 2 (1st Road Stage) 2 Guys that were far off the lead were allowed to go away and took the stage win (unfortunately I don't know who they are or which Uni they ride for) All the guys in contention kept together, there was a crash in the gutter not too far from the finished that split the bunch up a bit. 10. SRM Debuts 2008 Wireless Powermeter, Mountain Bike Powermeter and Solar Powermeter The following products to be unveiled are: ? Wireless PowerMeter - will send power, cadence and speed signals using ANT+Sport? technology. The SRM wireless PowerMeter will work with a wireless compatible SRM PowerControl and also with the new Garmin Edge 605 & 705 models. ? Solar PowerMeter ? a solar panel will replace the current SRM decal on the PowerMeter which will greatly increase battery life. ? Mountain Bike PowerMeter ? SRM has worked with FSA to develop a new MTB PowerMeter around the FSA Afterburner crank. The new Wireless PowerMeter will use ANT+Sport? technology. This will allow the PowerMeter to interface with other devices such as the Garmin Edge 605 and 705. SRM will also offer the system with a wireless compatible PowerControl. The new wireless PowerMeter will also work with the current sensor cable and PowerControl V. The Solar option will be available for most new Professional PowerMeters. The solar panel replaces the battery. A small buffer battery is also added to support the solar panel in inclement weather conditions. The Solar panel will extend years to the life of a PowerMeter without requiring battery replacement. The new FSA compatible SRM MTB system utilizes the existing FSA Afterburner crank design which will work with most mountain bikes. SRM replaces the existing spider with a PowerMeter which adds approximately 150 grams. An FSA bottom bracket is included with the system.Cruxpearl2007-09-25 04:22:00

  16. Ombudsman ruling said Insurance assesor knows more about carbon fiber properties than Manufacturer of Carbon Fiber Wheels
  17. More expensive than all-risk home policy, but in general all risk home policy does not cover you whilst taking part in a race
  18. Amateur Sadly, I referred the dispute with Cyclesure to the Ombudsman, who referred it to the underwriting company, who felt that their assessor knew more about Carbon Fiber and fatigue being the cause of the failure of the carbon, than the structural carbon fiber engineer of the company that manufactures the wheels and who wrote a letter stating that it is the Wheel Manufacturer's assessment that the wheels failed as a result of direct impact, as carbon fiber does not fatigue... And the Ombudsman accepted the Underwriters siding with the assessor rather than the expert opinion of the Wheel Manufacturer's design structural Carbon Fiber Engineer.... Figure That!!!!
  19. I've had similar experience and know a number of people that have had similar experience with Cyclesure.
