  1. Oh, okay. More here: http://www.sascoc.co.za/2009/05/provisional-2012-squad/ Good to see some forward planning. They've really changed their attitude at SASCOC, let's hope it stays that way and translates to medals in London... The goal is 12 - good start, must have always have a goal!
  2. <shameless plug begins> Actually, you could OWN one similar to this. Everyone that subscribes to TREAD magazine before 30 November 09 goes into a draw to win one ? in one of the new colours: blue OR white. It's worth over R80K. Check it out here: www.treadmag.co.za <shameless plug ends>
  3. He crashed at Sani2c and has been recovering from a broken elbow and the resultant surgery. He left the DCM Chrome team a couple of months back. Sean Badenhorst2009-05-27 02:40:13
  4. My fastest time for that section is 1:39 Jesus Sean....what do you eat for breakfast.....flatbar on toast???? Just kidding. I ride for a good time, not a fast time...
  5. My fastest time for that section is 1:39.
  6. Yep, I also cringed. Cliches and especially misuse of cliches and famous sayings is like fingernails scratching a chalkboard to me.
  7. Thanks to everyone (even Angelboy) for the birthday wishes. Have had a super day!
  8. Happened this afternoon. Very sad! She had three children.
  9. Join Cycle Lab's club. On Saturdays they have a club ride perfectly suited to your requirements. They have Think Bike marshalls as well as cyclist marshalls to ensure safety and a consistent pace relative to your fitness level. I doubt you'll get a better environment anywhere else. They have free beginner sessions, so go there tomorrow and check it out More here: http://www.cyclelab.com/
  10. If you're at the XC National Cup in Pretoria tomorrow, you'll see Morewood's new dual-sus marathon/xc prototype ? hot off the assembly line in Pmb this week, and delivered to Exelby personally by Patrick himself...

  12. I think organic food is mostly marketing hype. I respect that there are people that prefer to eat organic and that there are companies that do genuinely sell organic stuff. I just buy what looks good/fresh/filling! EigerSa, I'm curious as to how you know if the eggs used to make food at restaurants are free-range or not? Or do you just skip anything made with egg to be safe?
  13. Mine too. Fizik Arione saddles on all my own bikes: road and MTB.
  14. The paper is covered by tape. It holds out well between visits.
  15. If you want it to be 100% correct, see a kinesiologist. You body changes constantly which they can pick that up and make the relevant changes. Usually by removing (or adding) one or more pages. Amazingly, the thicknes of one telephone directory page can make a difference.
  16. Go see a kinesiologist. They'll balance you by building up your innersoles (which you can transfer between road and MTB shoes) with telephone directory pages. May sound weird, but it definitely works! Sean Badenhorst2009-05-16 06:09:01
  17. Oh toughen up. It's a bit of rain for Kevin's sake... Wear a rain jacket.
  18. Shew. He looked 'average' on that last climb. Three minutes down - big deficit so early on. He'll be strong in the second half though. Basso was class - as expected. Oh, Armstrong's saddle looks lower than it used to be, but maybe that's just my eyesight that's deteriorating...
