  1. Yikes, Mampara, that's a whole 16-page section! Printers print 16-pages per sheet so your mag is missing an entire sheet! Hope there's not more like that. Thanks for letting us know. Our to-do list for today just got reshuffled! We'll also post you another (complete) copy today.
  2. http://www.treadmag.co.za/ Click on the 'Subscribe' tab on the left and follow the prompts etc. Sean Badenhorst2009-07-08 07:30:38
  3. Hi all. Thanks for the compliments. Issue 2 was posted last Tuesday to subscribers from the Randburg Post Office. Assuming the postal system works smoothly, every subscriber should have his/her copy this week. Unfortunately, we have no control over the postal system. Thanks again for your enthusiastic support.
  4. Well done BBi Jnr! It's a stiff climb but well worth the descent....
  5. The rugby series has been won already hasn't it? What's to watch? It'll be repeated ad nauseum for a few days anyway. Le Tour ITT in Monaco is where my full attention will be. Sean Badenhorst2009-07-02 23:25:30
  6. Cool pics, Mampara! I love this city, it has so many great characteristics that only residents really get to see and appreciate.

  8. Details and names, Einstein. And perhaps a constructive alternative to the situation that's got you so riled up. Without those your post is pointless.
  9. Nice pics Mampara. Did you get some free beer and biltong at the TREAD gazebo?
  10. Nah, sorted the damp wood troll out. Certain drop-off I tumbled off a few months back. Got straight back on and did it again, but haven't been able to do it since... Will do it though.
  11. Ouch! cptmayhem, you're a good friend. Now, to be regarded as a great friend, you need to help him slay that troll as soon as possible. I have a troll to slay at the moment and I know that I have to do it sooner rather than later. farmgate, heal fast man, you've got a troll to crush. I know you know this, but when you return to the bridge, look where you WANT to go...
  12. I'm not an expert in frame materials, but I'd get it checked by someone who is. Maybe email a couple of photos to SCOTT for an opinion. Robbie Powell is the Scott brand manager for SA: robbie@probike.co.za On the bright side, here are carbon bikes in much worse condition than yours: http://www.bustedcarbon.com/
  13. A good read for anyone born before the 1980s... http://www.news24.com/Content/Entertainment/CelebNews/1048/3adaab70e2d043e2b7159fb69de270bb/26-06-2009%2008-06/Two_lost_icons_For_Generation_X,_a_really_bad_day__
  14. Not many people can claim to have changed the global music landscape. Michael Jackson was one of the few that did. His musical and dance influence is still so strong among the youth. I'm sad that we've lost such a great talent, but I'm glad I was able to experience and appreciate it. Rest in peace.
  15. I think Musgrave Agencies in Durban is the new agency. But I'm not 100% certain. Google them for a contact number.
  16. Yeah, and phillipe484 doesn't even own a camera and he posts this under the Photos category. Good point, phillipe484. Any bike gives me pleasure.
  17. Sigh. There are two types of women: Group 1: Those that can do a mountain bike ride on a weekday morning. Group 2: Those that can't. This specific initiative is aimed at Group 1.
