  1. It is crap you got hit. Good thing is the freelander stopped. I don't think you have much in terms of rights, just claim from your insurance
  2. Yes I am a roadie. Also taking a month off for spiritual reasons, muslim - ramadaan - fasting Any of you guys using online coaching? Or is that for top cyclists only, top 30 Argus finishers etc??
  3. Hi, How do you keep motivated to your training programme? I have been cycling consistently 10 months now, and about to take a month off before restarting mid sept. While I have been consistent there have been the odd moments where I strayed or was lazy to adhere to my programme. No big deal... however the vibe of something new kept me going, and I wouldn't want my next phase of cycling to be marred by not sticking to a continuously set of improving cycle training goals. Is anyone using a online training journal / coach / web training programmes such as training peaks.com? Or any other form of sounding board that keeps you going.
  4. Pics and price?

  19. I am a new PPA member (Jan 10) so I start in Y, did my 3 races in Feb, and have been patiently waiting on a decent seeding. Nada !!! 3 phone calls this morning and an e-mail requesting assistance before Sat's Malmesbury.... I hope it comes through

  21. My Sincere Condolences to the family.
  22. 1 of my bikes is a Merida 905 - Ultegra gruppo, nothing wrong with it.... great bike. Couple of years ago I had an Avalanche and also did piece upgrades...the problem is they are not cost effective, you don't get your money back. My advice is to save the 5k, try and make 2k on the Merida, pick up a 105 gruppo Raleigh. You will be much happier
  23. cyclelab.co.za also has 1
  24. Post your carbon saddle in the classifieds, you will most likely find a replacement there too.
  25. I love riding to work....it has to be during peak hours .. It is dark in the morning when I leave home... I am lit up like a christmas tree ...3 lights + hiVis jacket.... and you reckon I have no commen sense ?????
