The problem is M, I don't like white by the chainstays - gets dirty too quickly and unlike a MTB, creates too much pressure on me to keep it nice and clean !!!!

But I like the carbon weave thing !!! Actually, quite like the T-mobile design without the T-Mobile decals though (maybe put Telkom decals instead ..... NOT !!!!!), and maybe haveing a black tint in the clearcoat where it is black - so it will look black but the CF weave will only be visible close up and in bright sunlight. What do you think ?

Ok, so I think I've found a good spraypainter who also does custom cycle frame work. Will collect frame and meet tomorrow. Please post those design ideas ASAP as I need to make a choice tonight !!

Bruce, any idea whether they are going to upgrade/improve the Powertap head unit in the near future so that it will not be necessary to purchase the 705.

Just checking as I see conflicting reports on the web - some say one can just buy the powertap hub and use the Edge 705, while others say no - which is it?

Ok everyone I am about to start a build project and need help with the design etc. I have purchased (really almost a giveaway - thx Francois from Manic Cycles: Worcester) an old but good condition 2003/2004 Giant TCR carbon frame. Will collect this week and the plans/questions are the following: 1) Frame Respray- where in Cape Town, and if not then at Cycle Art but how do I get it back from them ? 2) Color scheme/design - I need help here. Will post low quality pic of complete bike now but of frame only, when I get it on Monday. Please help and submit designs on hub for comments etc 3) Components - possibly looking at transfering some components from BMC SL01 and then selling that frame or using it as training bike. So the TCR will be built as a lighter weight racing bike (I subscribe to the adage that: Even if you aren't fast, it doesn't mean you can't look fast - I need this to be able to attend BMC Fan's Hub rides!!! ) - that's the idea for now. I will keep the thread updated as we go along but please help with ideas etc. P.S. There is a special hijack thread available for those who are that way inclined so please use that thread if you feel the urge .... I woke up with every intention of surprising BMC Fan and joining but .... damn it's cold. Only have arm warmers so no winter gear. Doing all my riding on IDT at moment (which is not much to speak of anyway !!!) We'll have to ask for the next BMC Fan ride to be at 25km/hr avg speed!!

So after all that talk and mocking me from you and "Tromps", you didn't ride "PappaBear"!!!!!
