I don't understand turtlek - the 30's are just 30mm rims. Not much more than Easton Vista etc?

I was looking at the 30's at $500 which seem excellent value.

Zertz are the gel inserts that Secialized use in some seatposts and in most Roubaix model seatstays and forks. SUpposed to provide additional dampening properties.

No Onetime, I don't have a Specialized, but have often looked at the Roubaix frame at my LBS and wondered about the inserts.

Just curious - (I already am "Special" !) 1) Do the Zertz inserts really work or is it a marketing gimick? 2) If I look at running shoe "gel insert" technology, the gel has a imited lifespan and hardens - won't this happens with the Zertz as well? 3) Does putting gel inserts in the frame not indicate poor design or a shortcut to avoid expensive redesign of the frame or manufacturing process? your thoughts ... (yes, on the topic - there is a hijack thread available if not on topic)

What I can't understand is why, with the internet, Skype, etc etc etc, we still do radio interviews (i.e.Telephone) on TV !!!! Here we are complaining about the picture that was shown on the TV for 5min while a telephonic interview was being conducted - disgusting !!!! snapped my CAmpag Record carbon post a year ago on the Colnago. Had definately been overtightened and I hit the infamous railway lines at the Tour de Stellenbosch pretty hard. Used for 5years plus and way over 80kg for most of the time. Have a CF post now and no problems.
