I just read through the whole thread and it seems to me that every single person that has done it thinks it is not overated and well worth the money..........need I say more...
OK, understood..........but to play the devils advocate..at least they have tried to address the issues of those that had a problem with it....only my 2cents worth...
Guys don't smite me for this BUT didn't we ask for this? I recall everyone complaining that there was just too many pics and discussions concerning TCS. Quite a few suggested this virtual clubhouse idea and that is exactly whats been done. I am sure other clubs could do the same if they wanted?
That brings up a question for me?.... Does it make a such difference to the end result or is it just easier to controll your training and cause less injuries? I had a mate who used to run 10km's in 29mins...he never used a wrist watch let alone any power meters...don't think it would have made a difference there.

OK, bad example cause I agree with you.......I will give you another, I was on a ship docked in the Bonnie river, a body floated past and the dudes just pushed it back out into the middle of the river...this happened all day and going back to the office that evening I saw it "beached" about 2 km's from the ship....
Got in the middle of a gunfight between some thieves and the police in Port Harcourt (100m from our guest house)...2 thieves got killed and the police left the bodies on display outside the police station for 3 days....this was last year...NO RESPECT for human life...!!!!!!
I would rather go to the LBS and speak to them...When I started out this year, I had no clue (and still don't) about cycling, turns out the "entry level" bike they suggested and I bought from them for 6k was the best option by far. As for your question above, my bike is the lower spec in a better range......of course that is a road bike but I am sure that's the same for MTB's (correct me if I am wrong)Oiltrash2007-07-11 04:27:35
