  1. Great to hear, thanks a lot.
  2. Thanks a lot for the feedback! I sorted my saddle out late last year (also on a phenom now) and now I am having a serious look at decent bibs - looks like Assos is the way to go.
  3. Rather than creating a new thread, I will post and ask here: I currently have a Pearl IzumI bib that cost just over 1k. I am looking at getting either the Assos T Mille S7 (I see Assos is loved on the forum!) or the Ciovita Supremo bib (recommended by a friend). Two questions: 1. Between the two, which one would you recommend, especially regarding comfort and durability? 2. Is the jump in price worth the jump in cost (from 1K for another one of my current bibs to nearly 3)? Cheers!
  4. I agree wholeheartedly on the saddle fitment. I had the Ryder Force for a while, but I started to develop some niggles. I bit the bullet and went for a bike and saddle fit - turned out that my saddle was too narrow. Got the Phenom and haven't looked back since.
  5. Because the wheels go round and round?
  6. I ordered from them in November. Maybe send them a mail if you are not sure?
  7. Sjo, it's beautiful!
  8. Hence the comic sans. I think my head will explode at those altitudes!
  9. LOL
  10. It is easier at altitude because the wind resistance is less
  11. Near Komatipoort
  12. It could have been a very hard fall if it was not for the 3 jerseys cushioning the landing!
  13. Great project, looking forward to the pics of the finished bike! That head badge is on point!
  14. And on the spur of the moment this has become a lekker Friday thread
  15. They look like the business! Just a bit out of my budget at this moment.
  16. Thanks for al the input. I pulled the trigger on the More Luv Luvhandles
  17. Bit of a necro - would you guys advise going with the regular or the more luv Luvhandles grips? Any more feedback on durability? Thanks!
  18. I measured from the centre point of the old saddle and then positioned the Force saddle's centerpoint to be at the same point. It worked well for me - maybe someone else has better insight?
  19. I second this whole heartedly! I got excited when I saw there were new posts in this thread, was looking forward to some drool worthy pics. What a disappointment!
  20. Thanks for sharing your fantastic photos!
  21. Keep the grinder and machine and sell the house? :-) Or build a shelf. I don't think you will enjoy a super-automatic as much if you like the whole process of making espresso with the combo you have.
  22. Lowveld sunset - iPhone 6
  23. I have had no issues with my Severin. Excellent burr grinder for the price. I usually make French Press, Aeropress or pour over Coffee. It works well with my cheapy espresso machine, but I also think you will need something that can grind a bit finer if espresso is your thing.
  24. https://capecoffeebeans.co.za/blogs/how-to-make-great-coffee/17849668-an-aeropress-recipe-for-two This recipe from CCB works well for 2 cups. you don't really need all the weighing and measuring as the Aeropress is very forgiving. But I won't bother to try and make for more than 2 people. As madbradd said, it can be quite intensive.
