  1. 100% The weakest point is the nut holding the handlebars
  2. Great that he has a friend like you, @ChrisF. If I didn't have people motivating me like this when I started, I would have gotten discouraged very quickly.
  3. Have you been vaccinated recently? The chip that is now in your body might influence your bike's GPS #tinfoilfriday
  4. No issues with the new one. The old unit started to act up when it was about 10/11 months old. The one I have now has been going strong for longer than a year without any issues.
  5. Looks like there is a problem with the unit. As it is less than a year old, it should be under warranty. Contact the Wahoo agents (iKhambi). My previous tickr was replaced under warranty and I received excellent service in the process.
  6. Don't give up now, we can ride this thread till Friday
  7. Just a quick ride around town today to get the legs loose and blood flowing
  8. Also not an expert, but that distinctive V on the head points to this being a Night Adder.

  10. Yes, big congratulations are in order! I see on Strava that he went for a second lap as well - that he did in 3:22. Keep it up, @Blouogies!
  11. Quick morning ride before Komatipoort warms up
  12. If I want a sticker on my bike, I will put it there. If a shop wants to put a sticker on my bike, they can ask first. Most probably my answer will be no.
  13. You are a poet and you don't even know it!
  14. Wade needs to show up, this thread can't lose momentum - Friday is nearly here!
  15. Hi Tyronne, your best bet atm is to ride in Marloth Park. It is very close to Ngwenya. Have a look on Strava for the different segments. The one segment is a lap around Marloth Park that is nearly 30km. On this lap you are on dirt roads for most of the time. During the second half you are riding next to/close to the Crocodile River and the Kruger Park. You usually see wildlife on this route.
  16. How could you let facts stand in the way of good marketing?!
  17. I have been using Fug It for a couple of months. Does it's job. Local product. Good price. No problems so far.
  18. Don't come and throw your Hub Police weight around here!
  19. Warm and windy, but very enjoyable ride in the Lowveld
  20. https://youtu.be/rRLkbNMwxsQ I thoroughly enjoyed this video by the Vegan Cyclist on bike packing. Eendag as ek groot is, sal ek leer hoe om 'n video te embed.
