  2. It will real funny to hear the comments from the folks in the phots
  3. I cycle this route often on my own, it looks like they have race on every week-end with all the club rides going through this stretch. Trust me after the 94.7 the amount of cyclist in this area drops by 90%.
  4. For sure BIG H, but why would you need volunteers to run after us if we could just stick them into our pockets.
  5. Well done Alida! I only done it with 3 to 6th ones After I heard the one guy at the water point telling his counter part something about "see they just through it down".... Got me thinking when I looked at the floor and saw so many there I decided rather to put them in my pocket.
  6. On this topic, anyone have suggestions on a way better way of dumping your empty water sachet taken from the water points?? I noticed at the Telkom race that a lot of water sachets get dumped for few 100m's after the water point and someone needs to go along and pick this up. Should we not stick these into our pockets too?
  7. Thumbs up for getting back on the bike!
  8. I thought it was just our great access speeds in Africa
  9. Does anyone know where I can find a guide on how to adjust my SRAM force group set? Or possibly a good LBS in the Johannesburg Area (West Rand or Randburg Area). I took it to my LBS for service and they messed it up good and solid - took it back and still messed!
  10. Rather funy if have not seen it yet<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

  12. I think someone said he was turning 38 in September But I am sure they said that he is 37... about 100 times
  13. Looks Flippen awesome!!!!!!!! The all-new 6 Series Madone stands alone in every performance category. Weight. Stiffness. Comfort. Handling. The 6 Series Madone is the most technically advanced, exquisitely performing, and meticulously refined road bike we?ve ever made. More than three years in development, the 6 Series went through over 70 design revisions before arriving at a frameset worthy of becoming the next Madone. It?s the ultimate ride for pro cyclists like Alberto Contador, Lance Armstrong, and Levi Leipheimer. And it?s the ultimate ride for bicycle aficionados, discriminating enthusiasts, and those who simply want the best. http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/road/madone/6_series/meet_madone/ quinton2009-07-15 01:44:52

  20. No offense, but why ship a bike worth 26k if you have not confirmed that the funds are in your account?
  21. Anyone know what time the open cerenomy is for sunday's CAF game?
  22. Busy getting clarity on how they work but from what I understand is that you register a rider and get a specific number. Your sponsor pledge an amount they willing to pay per km or just a once off pledge.
  23. Not sure really, would be nice to one big hub ride or each one signs up at the different races and gets some sponsors... Anyone have ideas?
  24. Anyone interested in this and helping these guys raise some funds. I know cyclist will raise at least ten times more money then the runners out here I got this brief description from a friend. The Sunflower Fund and our aim is to educate and recruit bone marrow stem cell donors for young patients suffering from leukaemia and other life threatening blood disorders who are in need of a life saving bone marrow stem cell transplant. You might recognize us from our big Bandana Day Campaign normally in September/October; anyway check out our website www.sunflowerfund.org.za and that will give you more information. Would you consider doing it for The Sunflower Fund we would give you a sponsor form with an allocated number, we would even take you picture and post everything on our website. Our KZN branch managed to Raise R120 000.00 with Comrades and of course Gauteng wants to show then we can do the same. The campaign is called Miles for Marrow and maybe you could even get your company to sponsor you! quinton2009-06-09 02:54:32
