With Teak no more, I went to KingsKloof today.... This place is not made for anyone wanting to know if MTB is there thing or not. Not sure what the total route distance should be as we got a little lost at the very end but finished on about 25km doing the black route. The place has lots... no LOTS & LOTS of climbing and some downhills that will make the average rider cry!! The route was great, I think I spent most of the time with a hear rate between 170 ~ 182. R30 well spent!

Is it possible to buy a ticket on entrance or only pre-paid?

Just stopped there and saw all the blood. They took a really hard knock! Pieces of the rear cluster lying around and broken bicycle lights. One of their water bottles is still there. RIP fellow cyclist.

I saw some guys taking video and photo footage. I think the outcome for both of them is going to bad news for someone waiting for their loved ones to get home for lunch.

Anyone know if the two cyclist knocked down on Wierda road survived the accident?? Just saw the black porsche damaged and two broken bicycles next to the road.

I would rather miss a ride on my bike and wait to get it from somewhere else than buy anything from Cajees! Their concept of make it up way above recommended retail and asking for discount is so 80's style. Just a pity that they manage to catch so many uninformed shoppers! Then they still have the cheek to complain & threaten their suppliers about supplying small bicycle stores in their area!

So I have not been doing to many races in the last year and entered two races this month. I can see times are really getting tough out there when I look at the "race packs" given out now a days. Collected my number today and they gave you a key ring and WASP Gel. I understand that they do not have to give you anything but it shows how the sponsors are cutting back on providing goodies for marketing. Is the same in all the different sports hosting races or is this only in cycling?

I insured my cars on their website and it has saved me atleast R1000 per month. I have not had a reason to claim from them yet, so until then they have been good for me!

Buy the break pads and disks from them and fit it yourself. Will save yourself about R2000 - I think. Or you could buy the spares from Midas and do it yourself too.

I went riding at a bush lodge with a lot of those long white thorns and still riding strong!
