  1. Highly doubt it! (it is easier than the 42km btw)
  2. • Long distance riders will only meet the shorter distance riders about 200m before the finish, not in the river singletrack as in previous years
  3. Drink more beer! Unfortunately you are going to have to "pump iron" and increase your protein intake (whey protein shakes are the easiest) if your are specifically looking at muscle mass.

  5. Put Ice tech rotors on.. problem solved!
  6. Any reviews on the DeFeet gloves for cold morning rides? Specifically the wool one.
  7. Outdoor Escape, Stellenbosch. They are next to the big Spar at the bottom of Helshoogte..
  8. Sorry just had to
  9. Agree with you 100%! Dude, seriously? You probably hate good coffee, excellent wine, pretty girls, fast cars, beautiful beaches , cold beer & a lekker braai as well?? Not sure why you are so negative, but go and try Jonkers.... you might just LOVE it like 99.9% of the world.
  10. Awesome bloopers! haha
  11. claim it from insurance?
  12. Agree! Russian roulette
  13. Hmmmm...... I saw a Large Vipa that was 12.25kg.... (Xt , arch ex, hope evo2, Look pedals, Kashima fox fork)
  14. Just follow Jonkershoek road (google maps is your friend) till you reach the gate or park at Ride in café 2km before the gate. Yes it is safe, just be careful of snakes, baboons & leopards - They tend to only attack people on 26ers , because they are slow .
  15. Which Roubaix are you looking at? Seems like its a popular choice
  16. Any idea what the winning time will be +- ?? Suppose you cant use last years results as the route is slightly different.
  17. Quote from full sus. " This is the first bike that I immediately noticed how light it is while riding. 11.3kgs light – I went to the LBS and weighed it – and couldn’t believe that a full sus bike with dropper and SWAT extras could come in so light! Plus I was riding a large frame. Did I mention it felt so light?"
  18. Hi Johny, must have been a small camber without pedals & swat.. Full sus reviewed the Camber sworks (Large) and it weighed 11.3kg race ready (with swat, pedals etc. ) Im proud to say my XL camber expert with dropper post (500g) race ready (swat tools, pedals, bottle cage) weighs 12.6kg ( front rotor 200mm , back 180mm + ground control tyres 2.3 & 2.1)
  19. You wont get left behind. My one friend rides an Epic sworks and I dont have any problems when it comes to the climbs. We have the same fitness levels so if you do get left behind its not the bikes fault. Try and find out when the next test the best day is so that you can take the bike for a spin..
  20. Hi Ride4life, it sounds like you are talking to me? Thanks for the advise, but I allready bought the camber expert.. Full XO groupset 2x10, carbon crank , formula brakes, roval control carbon wheels, dropper seat post, fox ctd front & back, swat multitool & chainbreaker in my stem for less than 60k. The bike climbs beter than my alu Hardtail I had. Really happy with my decision. Enjoy riding your beast!
  21. Yes. What Epic do you have now? Are you looking at the camber comp carbon?
  22. I agree, if you don't lock your bike (properly) you are a fool, but its also not to difficult to cut through a cable/chain... if there are no guards. Trying to remember every owner is impossible... but by them actually walking up & down through the parked cars they might pick up suspicious people wondering around or something.
  23. Almost took my bike back to my bakkie after the race... luckily I decided against it. Event organisers should start looking at proper car guards with dogs that just patrol the cars/bikes.
