  5. We use both. Both stable. Ethernet over Power is noticeably faster than wi-fi repeaters though. We use wi-fi repeaters, with the same SSID as the main router, at the end of the passage to cover cellphones etc in the bedroom areas (backups at night when phones are charging) All working like a charm
  6. Seems like the biggest issue here is that a lot of people want to use Vitality targets / points as hero awards for disproportionate efforts. Surely the whole scheme was engineered at people obtaining a minimum healthy activity level. It most definitely wasn't meant to identify and reward super heroes. That said, has anybody been approached by a pro setup because of their vitality points awarded / target ration? Happy smoothie hunting (yeah, NOT super hero award hunting!) Back to something more real. Anybody heard anything more about the rumoured (in this thread) changes to the active rewards scheme?

  13. Not very fit at the moment but buried myself in a spinning session. Averaged 86% of DiscoMAX for 32 minutes. Yip. Switched off early to maintain the average. 300 points of my 500 target done
  14. Lawson Craddock is turning 24 later this year, so he would have averaged 78% Nobody else averaged 80% Most of the heart rates posted will only hit 80% for people over an age of 50. Robert Gesink's average will only hit 80% for somebody of age 66!
  15. I've unlinked Garmin Connect from Discovery. All they'll get will be gym and smoothie swipes and a random watch based activity here or there to get to the minimum. Points are not an issue, as I am maxed out like most on here. So much so for whatever plan they had to collect verifiable data!

  22. We've all become accustomed to doing death marches when training. Maybe Discovery will help people to rediscover the fun side of physical activities? sauce Most of my training will fall into the 300 points based on HR category. Weekend long run/rides should give me 600 points each (220-age)*80% means I need to take more pulls at the front though.
