I entered on the 1st of May and also paid R355. Anyway, wanted to do it for some charity, but will just end up riding for my Dad whose birthday was supposed to be on the 25th of November. Training going ok. Will do it on MTB with knobblies and currently doing bulk of training off road. doing a 60km ride tomorrow
Being one of those riders who are technically challenged (or read just plain lazy) I took my steed there for the second time this week. Damn these guys are good. Bike was booked in a while ago and was finished a day before the time. Not one issue due to poor workmanship. Took bike back this morning to fit new cassette, and was assisted immediately. They have won a new customer. My new LBS of choice. Try them out if you are in the area. Just shows you what a dedicated bike service centre can do, instead of a normal LBS that is more interested in selling bikes and giving below average services etc on bikes. They do sell a few bits and bobs, but main focus is working on bicycles road and mtb.
Done Hope he does well. I guess for honors level the survey is ok. Maybe he could have expanded some more and asked what perception of other brands are (not your favourite), what your the two most important determinants of choice are when deciding on a brand. and Reasons for disliking a certain brand etc I'm no marketing and brand specialist, but the findings could make for an interesting read

Would it be an understatement to say I'm over the moon with the fact that Registration is TODAY?? So, may I secretly get me something bike related to celebrate this? Or maybe a draft machine and keg for the man cave?

Can you believe that its simply too hectic to go and chill there? Wouldnt it be better to go there after we moved into our house and then have a decent celebration?
I saw the notice outside our complex, went back, phoned the owner, kept the bird occupied and owner came Bird went to him immediately We got a R500 meal voucher at O'Gallito's as reward, amazing isnt it?
Do you really think there is another mtb chick with more knowledge of engins and building stuff than most guys? WOuld it be weird to say that I read the Hub a lot but not so involved as I should be on the right forums?
