  1. Hey BMCFan, post that cool pic you uploaded to Twitter last night.
  2. DT also had an unrehearsed dismount . he forgot to mention that to me last night....and forgot to mention to him that I fell at the railway line yesterday morning and unfortunately Kathy saw and ........... well she is a gossip and my reputation is likely to be tarnished forever now. Your reputation definitely is tarnished! Holy kind of caused DT's unrehearsed dismount
  3. DT also had an unrehearsed dismount .
  4. DT, I should be the one thanking you! Was an awesome weekend. Holy, thanks for the "liquid refreshments". Don't ever ask Holy to swap pedals for you. I had to stop him from attempting to attach the pedal to the inside of the crank (and this was before he had any liquid refreshments! Also don't ride too close to him on a climb (DT knows why )
  5. I went to the TDF for the final 2 weeks of the 2003 tour. Unless you have a really good spot on the final day all you will see is a blur of colour as they pass by so fast. I honestly could not even make out that shape of a cyclist - it just looked like a rainbow! The crowds were 6 people deep where we were standing and I could only see straight in front of me. You need to ideally find a spot that is near the big screens in order to see what is happening in the race. We sat in a small pub in an alleyway near the Champs-Elysee and watched most of the race on tv. When the cyclists came near we would run out and watch them pass and then return to the pub until the next lap. You will have to be there many hours in advance to get a good spot. If you do go, you must try and see the caravan go past. It is something that they never show on tv and I was amazed at how big it was and how many freebies they threw into the crowds.Mandibles2009-07-13 11:47:12
  6. agreed. been too long since i've hit the trails with the little rollers. I think we should organise a Hub kiddies ride sometime soon. I've befriended a kid in my complex and I want to take him mountain biking.
  7. Riding with kids is such fun. Looks like a nice route you took them on.
  8. Well done D T and Captain Slow.

  10. Why are you not happy about it? Do you recognise the person in the pics?
  11. Looks like the same person in these pics.
  12. take that back! There is more than enough photographic evidence on the Hub to support my statement. Deal with it!
  13. My friend jumping off the wall at Wonderboom Fort a couple of years ago. Hope he doesn't see this else I'll be in trouble. Fortunately his face isn't visible.
  14. Is anyone else getting similar malware warnings to this when browsing the Hub? "Contains recognition pattern of the HTML/PicFrame.Gen HTML script virus."

  16. mmmmmmmm...the wager... Don't worry...I'll share Turtlek also mentioned that he had organised a box of Smarties for me.
  17. Dit is 'n doodloop straat. Jy sal nie kan verdwaal nie Do you want to bet another box of smarties? Nope, seeing as the road isn't on my Garmin maps I'm likely to be wrong. Don't think I can afford so many boxes of Smarties in one month
  18. Does that help Schwynn? I can't upload pics
