One of our customers built these trusses for a carport at their factory, when the cash flow allows, they are going to do a similar design for my to be built entertainment area at home.

Will put 2 hooks in the ceiling to hook the cable to. If I were to make another, I'd split the power wire, live up one side, neutral up the other and then hang it from the wire.

My latest "quick" project, my wife wants more light above the counter in the kitchen: Hung temporarily in the garage to test how hot the globes get, temp seems ok.

Any ideas where to find pipe clamps? Haven't been able to find any locally!

Market price +\- R18000 per cubic meter at the moment, depending on plank size and thickness. How that equates to Hub pricing I'm not sure [emoji12] Edit: I see Sniffie beat me to it, that price of R13250 is good, as I say, depends too on plank size.

It's great for the application [emoji12], this specific board is hard, and the finish is chosen so the crates don't slide off the truck. Different boards for different applications. We sell a lot of ply, but very little for furniture grade application. If the customer requires a better quality than our standard, we buy it out. I have a bit in stock...

It's a BB grade, with a "wire cross" finish on the faces, which gives it an anti slip quality, our customer builds trailers for Coca Cola, they use the boards for the floors.

Around R2000 per sheet...

Some proper plywood, bought on special order for a customer, not cheap!
