  1. I'm wanting to laminate table tops, the pipe clamps allow you to use pipe of any length so if you're doing wide tops, you just get longer pipe. They are available on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/bhp/woodworking-pipe-clamps
  2. These puzzle pieces Make 2 of these
  3. I was afraid that this would be the answer. Guess I'm going shopping online!

  5. Any ideas where to find pipe clamps? Haven't been able to find any locally!
  6. Market price +\- R18000 per cubic meter at the moment, depending on plank size and thickness. How that equates to Hub pricing I'm not sure [emoji12] Edit: I see Sniffie beat me to it, that price of R13250 is good, as I say, depends too on plank size.
  7. Not many people with that name I'm sure. Website needs an update, some changes to the leadership...
  8. Nice shelves BTW [emoji6]

  14. It's great for the application [emoji12], this specific board is hard, and the finish is chosen so the crates don't slide off the truck. Different boards for different applications. We sell a lot of ply, but very little for furniture grade application. If the customer requires a better quality than our standard, we buy it out. I have a bit in stock...
  15. It's a BB grade, with a "wire cross" finish on the faces, which gives it an anti slip quality, our customer builds trailers for Coca Cola, they use the boards for the floors.
  16. Around R2000 per sheet...
  17. Some proper plywood, bought on special order for a customer, not cheap!
  18. Ordinarily nails and screws are not an issue, we mostly plane and cut "new" timber, but every now and then we get requests to clean reclaimed wood, which is where the problems come from.
  19. If it's free of nails, and you can get it to me, I can plane it for you. Always hesitant to plane pre-used timber, just one nail through the planer/thicknesser results in an hours work to replace blades.
  20. Laminating can be a mission, and can get messy. I want to build a jig like this, it should make clamping a lot easier: Details here - http://lumberjocks.com/projects/108361
  21. I say I stick to metric, if my wife finds out how big 12" really is, there may be trouble in my household [emoji12]
  22. Ja, every time I ride you have something on, like work... At the moment I'm making tyre sealant in my sinuses again, so fill my time in the garage, rather than on the bike!
