  1. 170mm for the ladies and a pretty nuts launch video. Perfect for a Friday... it's got mobs, burning torches and pretty sure a pitch fork or two.
  2. I know... keep looking down at that and thinking the same thing. Did ask the guys to cut it down but instead they gave me 2 spacers. Wasn't sure if I should be annoyed or grateful!
  3. 1x trigger from Lyne...
  4. Dunno cos I can't get the page to load...
  5. shhhhhh. yeah! Wanna hear about this. No fan boy stuff, just honest joe as I'm about to pull the trigger on that upgrade if it's as good their other kit.
  6. They'll take you all the way to 50t if you're game!
  7. Colour coding...
  8. WOW! That is all there is to say about that. You couldn't script it.
  9. They are awesome. Only blow is they don't have a chain tool in there but weirdly there is space for spare links. R1200 is a fair amount for a mini tool but it's a nice, bling, bit of kit if you're not with a pack or saddle bag or a fanny pack. I remember Peaty and Mr Minn running them when they were doing they little Enduro adventure together in Italy.
  10. it's a Tranny Smuggler of all things.
  11. Buddy of mine has just fitted this to the same ride as i have... gets you thinking.
  12. Not to hijack but just in case anyone is interested, I've listed my Dee Dar. https://www.bikehub.co.za/index.php?app=hubmarket&module=core&do=view_item&item_id=247430
  13. Will let you know once I get the new build finished. I had an Ardent Race EXO on the back of my 29'r as a fast rolling option and it was great, very under rated. Swapped it out for a slaughter which I really love and fits my riding more.
  14. Just decided to head with a Onza Citius 2.4 on the front and an Ardent 2.4 on the back for my new ride. They'll be slipping on to 30mm internal Easton Arcs once the spoke tweakers have finished with them.
  15. Pike RCT 3 Solo 140mm 50psi 82kg with kit 2 tokens 67 degree HA LSC: 0 Rebound: 4 - 5 in from fastest Sag: don't really pay much attention. Just make sure that as an average on moist decent runs I'm using 90 - 95% travel. Lowest run it was 35psi just to see what it was like. I'm looking to get Vorsprung upgrade for the same reason.
  16. because it's still hilarious and scary, especially through the trees. Makes me want to be stupid and ride!
  17. Don't worry, I'll think of a set in stone cost and then let everyone know. I'll even include a jar of my tears to the person who gets the DeeDar.
  18. Truthfully and it's sad to admit. I can't have 3 bikes... I've got the Tranny (bad choice of words after Hairy's 'stiff drink post') which I love. I've just bought a Commencal Meta V4 AM that the current 160 Mattoc that is on my On One is destined for. I'd love to keep the On-One as it's amazing and I love riding it but I know I'm not going to have time to ride 2 bikes let alone 3 and it's too good a frame to just sit about for 1 out of 3 rides. I'm actually going to try to cut down to 1 bike to save my confusion.
  19. Righto. Just another Friday night in Hout Bay then.
  20. Some steel hardtail enduroness? http://p.vitalmtb.com/photos/users/27670/setup_checks/33920/photos/64304/s1600_DeeDar4.jpg?1487000203
  21. Sealed envelopes + a stiff drink to numb the pain please.
  22. Medium... It's soooooooooooooo nice. I'm an idiot.
  23. M`y DeeDar frame is heading to the classifieds next week. It's immaculate, it's an amazing ride, it's steel and I'm feeling very sad about it.
  24. Those brakes make me think you'll now be riding exclusively in jeans and AC/DC tee, this helmet, grow sideburns and have Ace of Spades on repeat....
  25. Awesome! Can't wait for this... only time I'll pin a number on all year.
