  1. WTF was that... actually scrub that... who built that track? There are bits on that he's linking that don't even look in the same post code let alone part of the same trail. Wow.
  2. Fairly certain I wish I could post less!
  3. These... happy... excited.
  4. Those are awesome. what do they set you back? Look like they will last long enough to be buried with you!
  5. There... fixed it, stuffed it and no more muddy hole.
  6. They are supposed to be insane. Intense have really come back into the scene in a big way this year after seemly getting lost in the industry for a few years. The original Tracer was an all time favourite.
  7. As well. My BB decided to kill it's self yesterday at the top of Cobra / Snakes so that's a reason to buy a new fork right?
  8. 100% How was that not flagged when testing or just drill a whole in the bottom of the BB like most manufacturers? What's worse is that they haven't made up anything for people who don't live in dry spanish climates in the way of a guard or a rubber grommet. Not a worry really as I've now doubled up with a grommet and a modified Csixx march guard type thing that is working great.
  9. Calling Myles.... First Ride: https://www.pinkbike.com/news/giant-reign-advanced-2018-first-ride.html
  10. So I'm adapting the Marsh guard that I can't fit on my Manitou and a foam plug like this to stop my BB filling up with gunk, water and mud. So my latest purchase? Foam.
  11. Thanks for the info. I did see that neoprene one on the Comm' site and thought it was the answer until it said 'not suitable for V4 AM' so back the the plastic and cable ties! I did find solution online but there has to be something a bit simpler.
  12. I've got a couple of options, one is to make a mudguard thing that can move and the second is more of a foam/ latex plug with routing for the cables. At the moment I just have 2 bits of a foam pan scrubber in there that kinds of works. Pink bike 'ask an expert' recommended drilling a hole in the bb. Not sure I'm that brave.
  13. Need to fashion something for the Meta like that. but has to move through the travel for some reason there is a massive hole for cable entry into the BB area but no drainage hole. It fills up with Commencal don't do anything for the issue but fills up nicely with mud and water. http://p.vitalmtb.com/photos/stories/2015/01/04/max_commencal_meta_am_ajbarlas_030114_0001_828441.jpg?1420385068
  14. Does that happen with the TF Tuned kit as well or just the coils from that french mob?
  15. I'm happy... I'm happy for the trails, I'm happy that there is cash and resources to get bigger and better. I'm happy for all involved that they can get to work with a solid plan and cash in the bank. I'm happy that is was such a strong promotion and not a cake sale that people begrudgingly bought 1 ticket for a poor prize that no one wanted. I'm happy that Santa Cruz has set a bench mark and is investing in the scene (I'll make time to check them when I next change bikes). I'm happy for the real Michelle. I'm happy I didn't change my screen name to Michelle and get stuck like that for a month. I'm also secretly happy that I didn't win. No, hear me out. I stated I'd sell the winning bike or sell my current bikes and donate the funds to the trail fund. I was 100% happy to do that as well... hand on heart BUT I'm very happy I don't have to make that choice!
  16. I smell a rat... Classic manoeuvre! Like the commitment as you're stuck with the Michelle name for the next 30 days before you can change!
  17. Hold on... let me just change my screen name and then I'll she'll let the mods know where to send the Julianna Bronson.
  18. I got the trail one for my brother as a Christmas present when I was there last Dec. Was pretty impressed when compared against my IXS Trail RS. Quality, protection and weight were very close. Stamps and tensioner were the lower quality areas. Haven't seen this xc version in the flesh though.
  19. DHB make some top kit that looks great especially for the female market. It's not all flowers and pink... what's going on, have you turned roadie in the land of the long white cloud? Can't wait to get back to Ohau and Wanaka next year for some Montieths, some riding and some snow.
  20. Good to hear of an other option. Do you have a website and what are your opening times?
  21. That thing is looking hawt!!
  22. This looks kewl. The New Foxy.
  23. Had a few different pads from the light weight (and very average G-Forms) through different 3Do type trail / enduro pads and some heavier hitting gravity ones. To be honest the pair that I still have and are still my 'go to' pads are the 661 Kyle Strait ones. Good enough to ride in all day, decent protection where you need it, great fit, not too sweaty and just won't die. Yeah you have to take your shoes off to put them on but I'm good with that. If they do give up I'll be looking at the IXS Flow for some good protection as all their products have been great. I tend to wear a back pack most of the time and ship my pads in that until I start the fun part and then leave them on all day.
  24. Here's a big call... if I win I'll sell either the winning bike or both my other bikes and donate that amount to the fund! #justsaying!
