  1. Bastard! Struggling to find Architecture sets locally.
  2. Got Burnt on Monday.Quite a decent film actually...some lekker twists. Chatted to one of the chefs that do the early morning commute with me this morning, and he gave it a thumbs-up from a chef perspective.
  3. Remember he shocked people with that dude-on-dude kiss in some movie? Isn't the recent series called True Blue?
  4. This reminds me of that Prometheus film...
  5. Politics in SA... Not In My Name ‏@Ant_vT 17m17 minutes agoWhen I see #EFFturns3
  6. Ah, Smallville...watched an early season of that...now I am tempted to get a couple of seasons. I (half-) watched two seasons of Arrow. Didn't get into it. DC-related...is Gotham any good?
  7. Hahaha! My son said to me: "That's the kinda thing that you said when you were still drinking, dad..." I belted my son before he could compare my stature with that of the imp's!
  8. Yeah, it was indeed beautiful. The opening sequence was good, for instance...the snapping pearls, for instance. Also the god-like scene where Supes saves the girl in the midst of some kind of Easter celebration. I would maybe have preferred two stories. One about Supes and the Bat; and then maybe a second about Supes' death. Jesse Eisenberg also spoiled it. Seemed like he wanted to turn in a Heath Ledger-type Joker thing. Lex is a loon, but not the kinda loon Eisenberg made him out to be.
  9. Oi, Stretch, isn't this where you took us? http://www.timeslive.co.za/thetimes/2016/07/25/EFFing-good-pizza-should-you-fANCy-it EFFing good pizza, should you fANCy it
  10. Got Chef in a bargain bin the other day. Similar concept: chef goes off the rails a tad, then finds himself, etc...harmless entertainment.
  11. Hahahaha! Man of Steel was enjoyable...but Dawn of Justice starts nowhere and goes nowhere...apart from the "death" of Supes. Comics-related...I picked up a copy of Jonah Hex about a week ago. That was terrible.
  12. This was also a cool scene... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAOzMs9HbWg
  13. I finished the fourth season this weekend. Took a while to watch it as I was easily distracted...had it on as background noise really. I enjoy it, but not hooked on it. The imp is my fave character though His "confession" at his trial is worth a watch...
  14. At 145 minutes, it's the longest teaser trailer ever. You spend most of the time going "huh?" In between biff, boom, crash, tinkle.
  15. Bought that on DVD this weekend. Wasn't in a rush to see it at the cinema. Very disappointed. Movie was disjointed. Pity, could have been done really well. Oh, and Amy Adams didn't get nearly enough screen time. Said it before, barring the Dark Knight trilogy, DC movies aren't nearly as good as Marvel's. Yet to see Civil War. Shouldn't that be out on DVD soon?
  16. It's that Leith woman, maybe?
  17. I've been grabbing coffees inside Woolies Food. I like the gingerbread latte.
  18. And a trip that short would probably earn too few points!
  19. You don't have any smoothie vouchers?
  20. And, please, for the guys wanting to take a fishy selfie, the saying is "cock a snook", not "cock a snoek"...
  21. The big one is the second Sunday of the month.
  22. ...time to squeeze in a little snack of chicken pasta salad, pateis de nata and a coconut tart...
  23. Sorta lunch time...coppa, guacamole and mozzarella sarmies and a bag of dried fruit...
  24. Nice ones, Stretch! I am definitely in a 4AD mood this week
