Just finished the second season of the Borgias this morning before work...it really is good! Thought it was getting bogged down a bit, but the decption of King Charles made stuff interesting again... I think I am falling in love with Gina McKee. That "10 more sons..." scene on the ramparts during the siege of Forli was a powerful moment. Even more than Scarlet Johannson's "mewling quim" scene in the Avengers!

I went to get a shave, and ended up getting flowers too. That's my barber, Gamar, holding the blooms...he's getting married soon, and will be away in Pakistan for four months. I am really going to need a shave by the time he gets back...

A friend said this is needed, because Mondays need no more cowbells...

I got so confused last night...fell asleep watching The Borgias, and woke up to mention of a "Joffrey", and thought I was watching Game of Thrones... The Borgias is really good, actually...once you get past the English accents and mannerism of some of the actors. That assassin fellow seems to make a lot of mistakes. Reminded me a bit of Kebble's killers botching things...
